Kelson's Car, near Swansboro, NC, around 10:45 am

POV: Narrator

Kelson had successfully retrieved the orders all of the Newsies had requested from Hardee's as requested from a list on his notes from his iPhone 12 Pro Max. "Well, say goodbye to our last drive-thru too probably. Gonna have to start door dashing or using GrubHub soon." "Thanks for paying, Kelson. It's been so many months since I had Hardee's." Davey said. "Anytime. You're the best, Davey, and we all need it." Kelson smiled as he turned around for a quick moment. Jake and Davey shared the same straw for their drink. "You wanna do something to Spot's burger?" Jake asked. "Yeah, put some mayo from the packets on it. He hates mayo." Davey said. Kelson began laughing silently. Mary continued minding her own business on her phone. After Jake was done, they both began laughing quietly and wrapped it up poorly. "Son of a bitch deserves it," Jake responded. After a few minutes, the Newsies were already back at the Beach house, awaiting the arrival of Kelson and the others for their food.

A few minutes later, Kelson and the others arrived at the Newsies' Beach house with everyone's requested order from Hardee's after smothering Spot's burger with bird shit. Everyone came outside into the driveway to help unload the handful of meals and placed the bags on the kitchen counter. Finally, when everyone was done with the tedious process of sorting out whose meal was whose, an awful smell began to reek from Spot's burger before he unopened it. "What the hell did you'se order? It literally, smells like shit," Skittery said. "Definitely not what I ordered, thanks to some douchebag who did this." Spot slowly unopened the package to reveal the true disgust within. He slowly began to fuse, clenching his teeth tightly, while the rage was filling up. He narrowly eyed Davey down, and suddenly pounced on him and proceeded to throw punches at him while he was on top of him, ultimately beating him up.

Kelson and Jack immediately intervened, but their attempts were unsuccessful. Kelson was punched right smack in the face, causing him to fall backwards onto the floor. "KELSON!!" Sarah screamed. It was nothing but complete chaos and yelling in the kitchen. Jack backed away from the fight.

"ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Jack screamed at the top of his lungs. Everything fell silent and everyone stopped what they were doing.

Everyone, including the still angry Spot, slowly backed away to reveal the weakened, abused, and beat up Davey. Jake immediately went over to Davey's side. Sarah looked like she wanted to cry as she saw the sight of her brother she loved so much, and her love interest lying on the floor in agony. But, she then felt something else within her. She clenched her fists. "You stupid ape..." she muttered while motioning towards Spot. She then took a hard hit to Spot's face and he fell unconscious once again to the floor. "Hey!" Jack shouted as he prevented Sarah from doing anymore harm. "Don't make it any worse than it is, love." he told her. She ignored the fact he called her "love." She had no attraction to him anymore. She then went over to Kelson's aid to comfort him. Meanwhile, Racetrack went over to Spot's side, unaware of his true self.

"You guys, this is unbelievable. What the hell has happened to us? I swear, somethin' between Dave and Spot is going on that I don't know about ever since we's met Kelson, because this is definitely not normal of them, and I need to know now." Jack demanded. "Yeah, why haven't we's been updated about this?" Racetrack questioned. "Right! We's a family, we need to tell everyone what's goin' on all the time." Skittery said.

"You okay?" Sarah said softly to Kelson. "I'm fine. Davey needs your help more than I do, though." Kelson said and smiled up at Sarah, while getting up. She then went over to Davey to comfort her brother, who was severely injured. Jake slowly approached Jack, and sensed Kelson's approval of telling Jack (most of) the truth from his nod. "Jack, there are some things you need to know about Spot. I have proof of him right here blackmailing Davey and trying to takeover the NY Times." Jake showed Jack all the evidence from his iPhone. He was shocked. Racetrack gasped and immediately stopped giving aid to Spot. "My own best friend betrayed me..." Racetrack began to cry again. This time, he fell into Skittery's arms. "Throw him out onto the street. I don't care what happens to him, he's done wit' us." Jake opened the front door, and the rest of the Newsies swayed Spot into the street from the top of the porch, closing the door behind them.
