Both the brother-sister were sitting in the lounge only drowned in their thoughts when Anubhav's phone rang with commissioner Sir's call. Showing the screen to Karishma, he picked up the call, "Greetings Sir," "Anubhav! Is Karishma with you?" "Yes sir," "Put your phone on speaker, I want to talk to both of you." hearing him he put the phone on speaker and placed it on the table in front of both of them. "Greetings sir!" Karishma notified her presence. "Whole night department had searched the whole city and we found two bombs too, but they were already inactivated." "Good for innocent people sir, I am glad Haseena's efforts did not go in vain," Anubhav responded. "Look Anubhav, Karishma, all the authorities are very sad about what happened with Haseena but let bygones be bygones now, we all want you both re-join your duty, the department wants Karishma Singh to join woman Police Station as an S.H.O in place of Haseena.....no one could take Haseena's place better than her." Commissioner was saying this but Karishma intervened, "I am sorry sir, but your sadness could not bring back my Haseena. Your lack of trust in your team had caused her death, only if you had put some trust in her and helped her solve the issue but in media and public pressure, you had suspended her. I am sorry sir, I do not wish to disrespect you but your words are acting like salt on our wounds." "I understand Karishma Singh but you try to understand after Haseena Malik I do not want to lose two more gems of my team moreover city needs you more now." Commissioner tried to make her understand but Karishma turned her face away. Anubhav looked at his sister and added, "Sir, right now we are too disturbed and we are not in a condition to join duty...." "It's absolutely fine, take a week's leave but after that, I want my both officers back," Commissioner added. "Okay sir," he responded and hung up. Karishma ran inside the room, seeing her Anubhav sighed heavily.

Sitting at the side of the bed facing the window, taking support of the bed, her legs cuddling to her chest, she had placed Haseena's scrapbook in her lap and was continuously shedding tears looking at their countless memories on each page. In one picture, Haseena was taking a bite of pizza when Karishma had clicked their selfie; it was the picture from one of the night parties they both had done at Karishma's house when she was staying there because of her health. She captioned that photo, I never knew that 'laat' and 'jazbaat' could ever be friends, from professional differences to best friends we have covered a great distance......my most cherished relationship. Karishma placed her hand on Haseena's face in that picture and a tear falls down. Turning another page, she looked at another picture, in which Karishma was drowned in eating ice cream some of which was applied on her nose while Haseena was laughing fully seeing her. It was captioned, Today I had seen little Karishma when she was enjoying her ice cream oblivious of the world.....my sweeto!!!" Karishma chuckled through her tears remembering that moment. Like this she reached to the last page, in the picture Haseena was tied to a tree while Karishma had taken a selfie, it was from the day she had wooed her with riddles and songs in that park. It was captioned, If it was a few months ago, I could have never imagined doing something like that for someone but now I can even sacrifice my life for my Karishma.....love you a lot my little beasty" Hugging the scrapbook tightly she screamed her name once again and started crying heavily, "Why you had left me alone Haseena if it was so important, you should have taken me with you too......" she said breaking into tears. Hearing him Anubhav entered the room and took her in a tight hug and shared her pain, doing the only thing on which they both were surviving those days.

They were sitting beside each other on the floor in the same way, where Anubhav had engulfed his sister in his embrace, and both pairs of eyes were glued to Haseena's cut-outs. "Anu bhayya! Do you think Shalini was the mastermind?" Karishma asked. He shook his head in negative and added, "If she was behind all this, then who had recorded her confession and then how it came on Haseena's phone? Especially when Shalini had been hidden only a night ago when we got her phone....." "It means, someone had abducted Shalini before we reach her but how he sends us confession that means he wanted to help us but then what was the need to save her from us in the first place....." Karishma tried to reach some answers but instead entangled in more questions. Anubhav placed his hand on his forehead and added, "It means, there is something which we still don't know and that mysterious well-wisher know about Haseena......" "But bhayya, when Haseena jumped the cliff, there were three other mobile phones active there, S.H.O Chauhan, reporter, and Shalini's......then who is that third person.....Bhayya I think we need to get that lake searched from expert divers once again.....maybe we find something there....." Karishma suggested and Anubhav agreed to her.
