Third POV

The following week was very relaxing and rehabilitating compared to the previous weeks. After Izuku finally came to terms, mentally, with his kidnapping, the doctors wanted him to stay in the hospital for at least a week. For one, they wanted to ensure Izuku was indeed alright and on the path of recovery; as well as to introduce Izuku to his physical therapy schedule and instruction. Izuku didn't have many complaints about the physical therapy, especially when he learned that Katsuki was taking a leave of absence from hero work to help him in his rehabilitation. Of course, Izuku would feel guilty to fully pull Katsuki from his job so the blond agreed to be doing office work for his agency at the apartment.

The week in the hospital felt much longer than it was but the duo got through it together. Izuku also had plenty of support aside from Katsuki, throughout the week with different people visiting him and hanging out with him. While Izuku chatted with his family and friends, as well as the occasional nurse or doctor, he couldn't help feeling conflicted with his feelings. He was happy to see his boyfriend happy and smiling, but he was also worried because Izuku seemed to have switched personalities too quickly. Only last week Izuku was despondent and now he was chatting away as if nothing happened.

Eventually, Izuku was able to leave the hospital. Katsuki pushed Izuku in his wheelchair out to the car and helped the idol into the passenger seat. Then he had a cage match while folding the chair and trying to get it into the car. After cursing at it for a while, he claimed victory and got into the driver's seat, where he was ultimately met with a  giggling Izuku. When Katsuki asked him what he was laughing at, the green bean simply congratulated him and said how proud of him in his battle he was. To which the blond turned strawberry.

When the couple got to their apartment they made a simple dinner together before sitting at the table to enjoy the meal and bask in each other's presence. "Kaachan?" Izuku asked, "hmm?" "What's wrong?" Katsuki looked up from his food and looked at Izuku confused. "Nothing's wrong. Is there something that I should be worried about? Did something happen!? Are you okay!?" Katsuki began to get more anxious at the question and what he could have possibly missed that was wrong.

"What? No, I'm fine. But are you? You've been looking at me concerned and anxious all week." At that Katsuki understood and cursed himself. He thought he was being careful in not letting his worry show but of course, Izuku saw it. "Oh, that." Katsuki sat up from his hunched position and looked down at his lap, "Kaach-" Izuku began concerned. "I'm just worried about you," Katsuki mumbled. "What?" Izuku asked surprised by the answer he wasn't expecting.

"You looked so broken when I found you. And then you were unresponsive and looked so sad and hurt. But during the last week before you got released, you were all peppy and energetic and happy. You looked like your normal self. I was so happy to see it but I was also worried because it didn't seem right. I mean you went from quiet and unresponsive to loud and extroverted in a matter of a day! It doesn't seem normal and I thought maybe you were just internalizing the pain and exhaustion, but you never cracked or asked for help. I didn't know if you were really fine or just didn't want to bother me or if you just didn't trust me to tell me. I was just worried for you and I should have checked in with you and asked but I didn't and now-" "Kaachan!"

As Katsuki was voicing his concerns, his voice was getting louder and more panicked. Izuku had wheeled away from his seat when he heard his voice catching. When Katsuki stopped talking, he looked up at Izuku and started crying. Izuku wrapped his arms around the crying blond the best he could and pet his hair till the hero was taking deep breaths and calming down.

Izuku then struggled to pull the blond up and drag him over to the couch in the living room. Once there, he pushed the blond to sit on the couch before pulling himself up to be sitting next to him. "Kaachan, I'm okay. I will admit I was internalizing a lot of my pain but I got through it because I had you, my mom, and my hyungs. Your all helped me. I am happy. I'm back in your arms and I couldn't ask for anything else. I'm sorry I worried you so much. I should have told you my thoughts and pains. I love you so much Kaachan, never doubt that okay? You're stuck with me my great explosion murderer."

At that Katsuki laughed, "I love you Izuku Midoriya." "I love you too Katsuki Bakugo." They cuddled the rest of the night and showed each other how much they loved and missed the other.
