TW: Alcoholism

Indiana walked in to see Alabama sitting at a table, an empty seat across from him. Indiana walked over the chair and sat down across from Bama.

"You wanted to speak with me?" Indiana asked, looking at Alabama.

"It's about Ohio." Alabama said, looking at the Midwestern state.

"Him having one or two drinks isn't a bad thing." Indiana responded, knowing what the conversation was going to be about.

"I would agree with you if he only had one or two drinks, but he drinks upwards of a bottle of wine a day! That isn't healthy!" Alabama stated, Indiana didn't say anything.

"Do you know how many times he's passed out from drinking so much?" Alabama asked, looking at Indi for an answer.

"A few times?" Indiana asked, he hoped he was right.

"Well I don't know, but that's cause I've stopped counting, but it's been way more than a few." Alabama responded, he had to get Indiana to believe him.

"Well it can't be that bad." Indiana said, he hoped he was correct.

"Ohio's an alcoholic, it is that bad." Alabama stated, looking into Indiana's eyes.

"What are you guys talking about?" Ohio asked, standing behind Indiana while holding a half empty glass of wine.

"It's really noth-" Indiana was interrupted.

"We're talking about you." Alabama stated, looking at Ohio.

"Ok then, I don't have a place to sit thought." Ohio responded, confused.

"Yeah hold one second let me go get you a chair." Alabama said, getting up to go grab a chair. He came back a few seconds later and put the chair down next to Ohio.

"Now sit down." Alabama ordered, his voice firm. Ohio took a seat and looked at his two boyfriends.

"So what do you need to talk to me about?" Ohio asked, still confused.

"Like I said it's really noth-" Indiana was interrupted again.

"You're an alcoholic." Alabama stated, interrupting Indiana.

"I'm not." Ohio responded, taking a drink from the glass.

"How many of those have you had?" Alabama asked, looking at Ohio.

"How many what?" Ohio asked, taking another drink and finishing the glass. He set it on the table and looked at Alabama.

"Drinks." Alabama stated.

"Ope, uhh a couple probably." Ohio responded.

"You've had way more than a couple." Alabama stated, he knew Ohio's alcoholism was a problem.

"Well I'm gonna go get another." Ohio told the two, getting up to leave before Alabama interrupted his plans.

"Sit back down." Alabama ordered, his voice firm. Ohio sat back down in response.

"This drinking of yours is a problem." Alabama stated, he knew it was a problem, he just had to get his boyfriends to believe him.

"It's really not-" Indiana was interrupted for the third time.

"Shut up Indiana!" Alabama exclaimed, he was ready to kick Indiana out of the room. Indiana promptly stopped talking.

"Well Indi's correct, it really is nothing." Ohio said.

"You're an alcoholic, it is something, and it's something bad." Alabama stated.

"You smoke so who are you to talk?" Ohio responded.

"I smoke occasionally, you drink to the point you get drunk every night!" Alabama exclaimed.

"It's really not that bad-" Indiana was interrupted, again.

"Get. Out!" Alabama glared at Indiana, pointing towards the doorway. Indiana nodded and walked out of the room, not saying a word. Alabama and Ohio watched as he left, before looking back at each other.

"You need to stop." Alabama stated.

"But I don't have a problem." Ohio said, he didn't believe for one second that he could be an alcoholic.

"You do, you drink like your life depends on it. I'm here to help you, not to hurt you." Alabama responded, his voice soft as he stared into Ohio's eyes.

"Maybe you're right." Ohio muttered.

"I do have a problem, I need to quit drinking." Ohio continued, his voice quiet.

"Great! I'll help you make a plan and get into rehab if need be." Alabama said, getting out from his chair to hug Ohio.

"That sounds nice." Ohio responded, hugging Alabama back.
