WestOhio fluff

"You two are gonna go on a date tonight, right?" PA asked, looking at Ohio and West Virginia. He was fed up with the fact that they haven't gotten together yet."No. Why do you think that we love each other like that?" Ohio asked, looking at Pennsylvania with confusion. He knew he only loved West as a friend, nothing more.
"Yeah Ohio's right, we're just friends, nothing more." West said, sharing the same confusion as Ohio. He knew he didn't love Ohio, and he knew Ohio didn't love him. He was sure of it, any feeling of love he felt for his friend was wrong, he didn't love his friend.
"Fine, I know you two are in love, I'm surprised you've been able to deny it for this long." PA said, sighing as he left the room.
"Why does he keep thinking we love each other as more than friends?" West asked looking over at Ohio.
"I don't know, we're just friends." Ohio stated, looking back towards West Virginia.
"You're the best friend I could ever ask for though." West said, hugging the taller state.
"Aww thank you, so are you." Ohio responded, hugging the slightly shorter state back. The two stayed in each others embrace, not wanting to let go. They knew they only loved each other as friends, they didn't know why they loved being with each other so much. After a few minutes West Virginia let go.
"Do you wanna meet me outside at night? We can go to the forest and look at the stars." West Virginia asked.
"Sure why not, I'll meet you at 11." Ohio answered, smiling. He walked away to leave the room.
"Hey!" West called out. Ohio turned around in response.
"I love you." West Virginia said, he knew he was just saying it as a friend.
"I love you too." Ohio responded.

Ohio opened the door towards the outside. He looked around to find West Virginia. After a couple seconds his eyes landed on the other state.
"Hey!" Ohio greeted, walking over towards his friend.
"Hi! Follow me." West greeted back, walking toward the woods.
"I'm kinda surprised you're the one who suggested we should do this." Ohio said, following West.
"Why do you say that?" West asked.
"Cryptids." Ohio responded.
"Yeah, we don't have anything to worry about though." West Virginia stated, walking farther into the woods.
After a few more minutes of walking the pair found a spot to lay down. They laid down next to each other, looking up at the stars.
"They're beautiful aren't they?" West Virginia asked, continuing to look up at the stars.
"They look so pretty tonight." Ohio responded, the cool air felt nice on his body. The two laid in silence as they looked up at the night sky speckled with white stars.
"I hope you know I love being here with you." Ohio said, he knew he didn't love West Virginia as anything more than a friend.
"Same with me, I wouldn't trade it for anything." West Virginia responded, smiling as he looked at the night sky.
