The song finishes and the crowd erupts into applause.

"Thank you!" shouts both Damiano and Sara.

Sara along with Damiano are the main vocalists of Måneskin. The two had been singing together since they were very young. One day, Damiano got call asking if he wanted to be in a band but since it had always been him and Sara he said, "Only if Sara can also join." And so, that was how Måneskin formed.

Sara walked off stage as this last song was meant to be something special for her as the rest of the band had agreed and it was meant for her birthday apparently as it was only two days away. Damiano was behind this as they said and everything was especially planned.

"This next song is dedicated to someone very, very special in my life," said Damiano, emphasising the second 'very' as he held eye contact with Sara who was now off stage. "In the beginnings, it had been just us two but we got through everything and even though she had been through a lot she had always been there for me and now she is more important to me than ever. This song is dedicated to the one and only girl I have ever loved."

The crowd errupted into 'awhs' and whistles and without any seconds to waste Damiano started singing.

Sara stood backstage with her water bottle in her hand as her eyes were wide open. She felt unable to move.

So many things had happened in the last ten seconds that she couldn't comprehend it.

Did Damiano, the man she had loved since they were teens, just confess his love for her in front of hundreds of people?

They had almost won X-factor Italia a little under two years ago but this was more unexpected than that.

Sara still couldn't believe what she had heard. All she could think of was the possibility that Damiano actually meant what he said or if it was in a friendly.

The song soon finished and Sara went on stage quickly again to bow with the rest of Måneskin and they all walked off.

"That was amazing! You really hit that note, Sara!" exclaimed Victoria as she hugged Sara.

"Thank you, you did great too." said Sara.

She felt someone tap her on her back and she turned to see Damiano.

He looked so good with that eyeliner, his hair slicked back and the whole costume.

"Can we speak in, uh, in private?" he asked, nervously.

"Of course." said Sara.

"We'll be back!" exclaimed Damiano as he took Sara's hand and took her to their changing room.

"Listen, I've been thinking about how to say this for a very long time. When we were younger you were always there for me and you still are, nothing has changed. We've come a long way together and I think it's time to tell you that I love you, Sara. You're the only woman I have ever loved and I hope for it to stay that way but only if you feel the same." said Damiano as he looked into Sara's eyes, her hands in his.

"Damiano I - I don't know what to say." said Sara. She felt all these emotions that words couldn't explain.

"It's fine, I'll be waiting. I'll even wait for you till the end of the world." he said and Sara couldn't take it anymore. She went on her tiptoes and placed her lips gently against Damiano's. At first, he was surprised but he soon melted into the warmth of Sara's lips on his.

"Hey have you seen my - " started Victoria as she opened the door yet she stopped when she saw Damiano and Sara, who quickly pulled apart from eachother.

She smirked and said, "I saw nothing!" as she backed out of the room, her hand over her eyes but you could hear her calling out to Ethan and Thomas about what she saw.

Damiano and Sara looked at eachother and laughed.

At that moment they both felt like the happiest people alive.
