"It's a great party, you really did a great job!" Victoria shouted to the girl she walked up to over the loud music.

"Well, I did get help from the unstoppable party animal, er cobra, so naturally it's great." the girl replied.

"Ah, yes, er cobra in his natural habitat. He's going to be so done after this party." Victoria said, looking at Thomas dancing with Lavinia who was laughing at his already slightly drunk state.

"At least you performed yesterday and not tomorrow, imagine what that would sound like. A hungover Thomas playing the guitar, a tragedy." the girl said.

"Oh, my ears hurt already." Victoria stopped when someone called her from behind.

"The birthday girl is being called, off you go." she said.

"Thanks again, Blanca. This is amazing." Victoria kissed Blanca on the cheek and left to Lavinia and Thomas who called her over to dance with them.

"Me and Thomas really did a good job, didn't we?" Blanca said jokingly as her, Ethan and Damiano sat at a table to cool down for a bit.

"You did. However what I would change is the temperature, it's extremely hot in here." Damiano said.

"I can open the balcony doors." Blanca suggested.

"Oh, yes, please." Damiano said. "I'm about to melt."

She opened the balcony doors next to them and a rush of cool, fresh air swooped in.

"Already better." he said.

Blanca looked around the big apartment living room, everyone was having a great time on the 'dance floor'. Ethan never danced or did anything at a party however once Damiano had alcohol in his system he would be the biggest party animal right after Thomas, they were unstoppable together.

Damiano left to get himself a drink and Blanca and Ethan were left alone.

She looked at Victoria, the centre of everyone's attention. Whenever she entered a room everyone stopped what they were doing and admired her beauty. Or at least that's what it seemed like to Blanca.

"You're staring again." Ethan said. "You'll be drooling soon if you don't look away."

"Haha, funny." Blanca said, dryly.

"Just go and tell her, it's her birthday." Ethan said.

"Exactly, it's her birthday. If she doesn't like me, I would have ruined her birthday." Blanca answered.

"Everyone can see you two like each other, it's ridiculously obvious." Ethan complained. "Get yourself together, woman!"

"If there's a good time, I'll do it. If not, I won't." she replied simply.
