"Please? Oh come on! We need to do something, it's your birthday after all! You're turning twenty-one!" whined Victoria, trying to persuade Francesca to do something for her birthday while Francesca just played with their white kitten, Stella.

"Vic, I love you and your ideas but no! I don't want to anything for my birthday." said Francesca.

"Oh but, Fran, at least let me take you out for dinner or I can cook for us today!" exclaimed Victoria, getting excited.

"Jesus Lord give me strength," said Francesca as she looked up at the ceiling her hands together in a prayer manner. "You can cook us dinner but nothing more."

Victoria clapped her hands together and kissed Francesca deeply. "Oh I love you so, so much! I'll make sure not to burn it this time!" she said as she ran to get her coat and go to the shops for the ingredients.

"I'm going to the shops to buy ingredients, I'll be quick." said Victoria as she put her shoes on.

"Oh and, um, don't expect me to be home. I need to go walk Chili." said Francesca referring to their dog that they had adopted together a couple years ago.

"Of course." said Vic as she walked up to the back of the sofa where Francesca was sat and quickly pecked her lips as a goodbye.

"Stay safe!" said Francesca as Victoria was leaving.

"Always!" replied Victoria. "Love you, darling!"

"Love you too!" said Francesca.

Finally, once Victoria had left the apartment, Francesca was alone. She looked down at Stella and smiled saying, "look what I have with your mother," she said, smiling. "No complaints though. She's hot and good in - You know what? Lets not get into details." said Francesca as she stood up from the sofa. "Come here, Chili! Come here! Good doggy."

Francesca got the dog's leash and looked herself in the mirror to see if her outfit was still presentable as she had just been sitting on the sofa. She had wendy tartan tan trousers and a white surplice butterfly-sleeve top.

She put on her shoes and walked out of the house, Chili following after her.

Francesca never really liked putting leashes on their dog so, as long as she was in the building, she always kept Chili off the leash. As she was closing the door, the door of one of her neighbours opened and he walked out.

Victoria and Francesca had two neighbours, one was an old lady in her 80s that they loved helping and the other was a man aged twenty-two, the same age as Damiano.

Francesca and Victoria really liked the man and they were really good friends since he moved here from Ireland a little less than a year.

"Going out on a walk with Chili I see." said Albert as Chili ran up to him jumping on his legs excitedly as he played with Chili.

"Yep, she loves walks." said Francesca as she locked the door.

"I think every dog does, I remember my childhood dog, Milo, he loved walks too." said Albert.

He was a handsome man: blue eyes, blonde hair and a tall, strong frame. But Francesca was only into girls and he was only into men.

"You know, I never asked how you learnt Italian, I mean do you have any roots or was it just for fun?" asked Francesca as her and Albert made their way down the stairs to the bottom floor.

"One day, I came here on holiday with my parents and then when I saw this place I fell in love and started learning the language for fun really but then I ended up moving here." he said.

Francesca and Albert ended up separating as she had to go left whilst he had to go right. She put Chili on a leash and started walking towards the park.

She walked around the park for around an hour and then she went home slowly.

As she unlocked the door to her and Victoria's apartment she was welcomed by a actually quite inviting smell.

She hung the keys on a little peg and took the leash off Chili. The dog instantly ran to Victoria, jumping on her leg.

"You're home!" exclaimed Victoria as she picked Chili up and went to kiss her girlfriend on the lips.

"I wasn't going to spend the whole day there," laughed Francesca. "What are you making? It smells nice."

"Now that, my dear, is for me to know and for you to find out." said Victoria, smiling innocently.

"Oh yes, very innocent you look." said Francesca, looking at the girl the same height as her.

"Now, I don't think you'd say that last ni - " started Victoria but didn't finish.

"There are children listening!" exclaimed Francesca, laughing as she refered to Chili and Stella that was laying on the sofa.

"Of course, of course." said Victoria, yet she still whispered the rest of her sentence to Francesca who lightly blushed on her cheeks after hearing it as Victoria walked back into the direction of the kitchen.

The rest of the evening was spent making dinner and eventually eating it. It was a great evening and then the two girls went to sleep, both in an amazing mood.
