[You are Flavia]

Flavia had just met her father for the second time that was absent for her childhood at a dinner she had with his family. She had met her step-brother, he was a kind twelve year old boy who had Flavia's dream family. He had a caring father, a mother who he saw for atleast three hours a day, unlike Flavia who saw her mother for maximum of two hours a day, a dog something Flavia always dreamed of since she was a child, a big beautiful house and a normal good life.

Everything was so overwhelming. She drove through the streets of Rome with tears in her eyes.

When she reached her and Victoria's apartment, she was sure it was empty as he said that her, Ethan, Damiano and Thomas were going to spend the day at the studio but she decided to cut short to be there for when Flavia got home, ready to comfort her.

She threw her shoes off and threw her purse onto the sofa. She walked to the table rested her arms on it and she took a deep breath. She sat on the chair was completely broke down, sobbing.

Little did she know, Victoria was in the kitchen and he heard everything. As soon, as she heard her sobs, she ran to the living room.

"Via, dear." she said softly, walking towards Flavia and she quickly turned around, wiping the tears and mascara stains from under her eyes. "Are you alright, sweetheart?"

"I'm fine." she said, wiping her nose.

"Tell me, love, what happened?" whispered Victoria softly, hugging Flavia to her side and then holding her hand for comfort. Flavia stayed silent for a couple seconds before starting to explain.

"I - I got there wanting to meet my step-brother and step-mother but then I saw what a life the boy had. He had a father, a mother, a dog. Everything I wanted when I was a child. You should have seen how close they were! It was just too overwhelming for me, I had to get out of there, Victoria" she sobbed and Victoria just held her closer to herself.

"Ssh, calm down, princess. It'll be alright." whispered Victoria as her girlfriend sobbed into her chest.

"It's just he had everything I wanted! Why couldn't I have that?" she shouted through her crying. "Why the fuck couldn't I?! Is it my fault that he left? Was I not a good enough daughter for him? What was it that made him leave and give me this pain? Why couldn't I just have a father? Was I not worth it?"

"Shh, darling, of course, you were worth it. It was his fault that he left." Flavia breathed in shakily for air, breathing in Victoria's comforting smell. "You're special, Flavia, and it was his mistake that he ever left in the first place. There's many people who went through the same thing as you and many who never got to meet their fathers, you have the posibility to get your father back. You can't get your childhood back, no, but you can get your father back and make him part of your life before it's too late."

Flavis stayed silent for a bit, thinking over everything.

"Do you think I should give him another chance?" asked Flavia and Victoria smiled, wiping her tears with her thumbs.

"I do." said Victoria, taking Flavia's face in her warm hands and looked into her girlfriend's eyes. "I understand you're sad because you didn't have a dad growing up and he was never there for you but, my lovely, not many get the chance for their father to come back and want to be part of their life. Don't loose an opportunity like that, dear."

Flavia looked around the room where pictures of her and Victoria hanging on walls and placed on furniture. She saw how happy she looked but inside there was always a part of her missing, it was a father. She smiled and looked at Victoria.

"Maybe you're correct. Maybe I should give him another chance." Flavia said and Victoria smiled warmly at her girlfriend and kissed her, pressing her warm lips on Flavia's wet ones.

"I love you, Via." whispered Victoria, resting her hands on Flavia's shoulders.

"I love you, too, Vic." smiled Flavia.

They kissed again and it felt like the world stopped just for them.
