36. SUMMER OF GOOD MEMORIES [D.D]

[You are Elisa]

"I can't believe you're making me sleep in the same bed as Elisa. This is not good for my mental health." Damiano whispered as him, Ethan and Thomas sat on the day beds at the beach house they were renting for three and a half weeks in Greece.

It was amazing, but it had only three bedrooms. Ethan and Thomas were sharing a room and Vic had said from the beginning she wanted the single room as she cannot sleep with Elisa because she takes the covers for herself but really it was because she wanted Damiano and Elisa to sleep in the same room so that left Victoria taking the single-bed room and Damiano and Elisa sharing a room.

It was known to Ethan and Thomas that Damiano liked Luisa but no one knew that she liked him back. Well Ethan being her brother and Vic being her best friend since forever but they promised not to tell him or anyone.

In the house, there was a pool, an outside kitchen, a big grassy space, two resting outside spaces with a one massive couch in each and a breathtaking sea view from all bedrooms.

"She's my sister and you'll be sharing a room with her and it'll be so many nights and no one will be there and you'll be alone and- oh my god." Ethan whispered, freaking out.

"Dude, calm down. You're over reacting way too much, Ethan. And you Damiano, it'll be fine. It's only three and a half weeks." Thomas whispered back.

"Only?" Damiano exclaimed out loud and they all turned to look at him. "Sorry."

Thomas started laughing and Ethan just rolled his eyes at his childish behaviour.

"Too loud, bro." Ethan said, putting his hands on Damiano's shoulder.

"I think it's time to take a swim." Victoria announced. "Who's with me?"

Everyone agreed with her and the five friends made their way to the pool.

It was slowly becoming dark so the sun was setting and, man, was it a beautiful sun set. It was only their first day here so they had not been able to yet see the sun sets but they were a beauty.

"Fancy us sharing a bedroom, huh?" Elisa mocked Damiano as they walked towards the pool with everyone else.

"Oh, yeah." he said calmly. 'How could she be so calm? Oh yes it's because she doesn't like me the way I like her.' Damiano thought.

"I hope you don't actually snore as loud as Ethan says you do." Elisa says.

"Ethan tends to be over-dramatic." Damiano said and Elisa chuckled.

"Oh, I've seen that more than anyone here." Elisa said.

"Yeah being his sister must be hard." Damiano said. "I'm so sorry you have to go through that, Elisa."

They both laughed and jumped into the pool at the same time, joining the rest of the friends that were already in the pool.

After many screams, splashes and water fights they all left the pool and changed out of their swimming clothes, putting on some proper clothes for the evening.

They sat around the wooden table, all friends engaged in a conversation as the bright white lamps shone on them.

"Okay, I'd like to propose a toast." Damiano said, standing from his seat.
