The evening was filled with smiles as our town rejoiced in the presence of our only heiress and laughter filled the air as she moves around, talking to everyone in the room.
She's so happy.
Li is the most logical and smartest person I know. She knows how to protect herself and has an excellent life ahead of her.
I sigh as I turn away from the bright scene to head into another room, where I pull out my phone, remembering my last and hardest problem.
I press onto a familiar contact and prepare my words. At last, I have a plan.
To protect everything my family has built and for my heir to carry this town onto the stage of the greats. To protect me and my husband for as long as I can until Li is grown. And to protect the girl who can rule the world the moment she's an adult.
The dialing tone stopped and the familiar dry voice of that boy echoes through the dark and empty room.
'You want the will? Come here and get it,'
*Soo-ah's POV*
~Timeskip~
I jump off the last step of the plane and stroll to the baggage pick-up where I pulled out my bursting suitcase. I feel much more energized after nap. I walk out front where families were racing and pushing for taxis in bustling Guangzhou.
After a solid ten minutes of waiting, I realized that I wasn't waiting for anything and I take out my phone, my cheeks on fire. I stick an earbud into my ear and open up my WeChat to text my bestie.
It's been ages since I've seen her. (gurl it aint even 2 days yet) I tap impatiently on the moon loading screen and I move to click onto our messages but something else catches my eye.
"JungSoo-ah<3, you have one new friend request!"
I tap onto it, not because I was genuinely interested into talking to all the people who get my QR Code from Instagram, but because of the fact that this person's user ID was fucking user2958204.
I mentally slap myself as I accepted the request to the "user2958204". Not even a profile pic?!?
Within seconds, a message popped up from this alien and I grimace, typing back.
'Hi, this is user2958204. Let's be friends!'
