And just like that, the play was on.

'Yah, Soo-ah, can you help me replay the match against Jeon? You're quite similar to her,'

'Of course, let's move slower though,'

She nods as we head back to our individual sides of the court. The serve starts and we started to replicate the one-on-one that I played with the strange girl with the strange aura. We replicated it slowly and I mentally took notes. After a couple re-runs of the spike-block, I wave her over.

I clap her hands and confide my notes in with her.

'I'm sure she has more techniques to use but maybe she's not aware of them all. I'd love to examine her further. Nationalists always have specialized techniques or a way they can win against over without getting detected from a distance,'

'I agree. I wonder what other auras there are in the world. We should probably pack up now,'

'I want to play more,'

'Same but we have to go condition our muscles,'

'Ugh fine,' she moans and I laugh at her.

*Emily's POV*

Woah, they were really coordinated. They repeated this crazy move like 10 times. I didn't understand it but it looked amazing.

After a while, they stopped, talked a little and started to walk away.

'Time to leave,' I hear my father's mother say.

I nod and get up, running out of the stands to talk to Soo-ah and my sister.

'Hey!' I call out.

They turn around and wait for me.

'Wow, you two were really good. That move was crazy!'

'It was a move used in Li-ah's match against her senior on the national team,' Soo-ah explains. 'She recreated it to understand her movements better and to counter it in the future,'

'You're both really passionate about volleyball, aren't you?' I ask sheepishly.

'Of course!' Soo-ah chirps with a smile.

I turn to my sister.

Oh.

She's smiling as well but not at me.

The corners of her mouth twitched upwards at the sound of the sport as her eyes closed into the smile, facing Soo-ah.

'We've been playing for years and it was the first thing that connected us,' Soo-ah continues as we start to walk up to the surface.

'Wow, I've never really had a hobby like that,'

'Really? No interests?'

'Well, I had a photography phase, then an art phase, then an acting phase... I'm quite indecisive,' I mutter.

'So basically...,'

I look up to the sound of my sister's soft, velvety voice.

'...you quit after it's no longer fun,' she says with a strange tone.

I feel a shiver up my spine and sweat drops form on my neck and forehead.

'I mean- kind of, but it's more like-,' I stutter.

'You haven't found the right thing,'

I turn to Soo-ah.

'Yeah,'

'For me, I liked volleyball  since I was, maybe 5?' Soo-ah says. 'But I got really into it just before I met Li so when I was around 8-9,'

Li nods.
