17. Fight

I looked at the person who dare to snatch my phone. My eyes widened in shock when i realized that the person is none other than Andrew.

What the hell is he doing here???

"Let's go home" he said.
I knew that i can't go against him right now so unwilling i nodded my head.
I can't go to see Evelyn right now but i can video call her to make sure that she is fine.

After few seconds Jace came with our car and we got inside it.
I looked at Andrew's calm face and was suspicious. I thought that he will be angry on me since i slapped his sister's fiancee. But he looks so calm like nothing happened. That's quite strange.

"Aren't you angry on me???" I asked
"For what???" He said confusedly.
"Because i slapped James " i answered.

"I am angry on you but not for that reason" he said.
"Then for what??" I asked
"For not give him a good punch " he replied casually like he is talking about weather. I never knew that Andrew hates James so much.

"I know that you must have a good reason for slapping him. You doesn't seems like a girl who would go around slapping anyone without any reason " he said while looking out of the window
His words filled my cold heart with warmth.

No one except my family ever trusted me like this. People usually judge me without knowing my reasons behind what I do. This is the first time a stranger is trusting me so much and not to mention he knows me so well.

"Although i think that you slapping him might create trouble for you in future " he said.
I nodded in understanding.

That's true slapping James was not the best option. He belongs to a powerful family and i am pretty sure that his family won't be happy with the scene i created today. But i really don't care. They might be angry with me but they won't do anything to me. Afterall i am Athena Paulsen. So i am not scared of them. After few hours we reached our destination and i sighed in relief .

I slowly entered the room. I can't explain how tired i am filling right now. I swear i am not going to attend any charity event in future. I took my phone and dialed Evelyn's number. I am glad that Andrew returned my phone as soon as we reached home.

"Why the hell she is not picking up my phone " i shouted angrily when Evelyn didn't received my phone nor she called me back. 

This made me more worried for her. The way she reacted in the ball and my fight with James is scaring me right now. I hope that Eve is fine. I will never forgive myself if anything happens to her.

I checked the time and found that it's 11:30. It's not too late to visit Evelyn. I just want to make sure that she is fine.

Without thinking twice i walked towards Andrew's room to take his permission. I didn't even bother to change my clothes.

I knocked twice and waited for him to open the door. After few seconds Andrew opens the door. I realized that he has not also changed his clothes. He has taken off his blazer and his sleeves are rolled up. He looked tired and i feel sorry for disturbing him. But what can i do ??? This is very important.

"What do you need " he asks.

"Can i go to meet Evelyn right now. I promise i will be back by tomorrow morning " i said hurriedly.
"No" he instantly replied
"Why???" I asked irritatingly

What is his problem. I really don't understand.

He grabbed my wrist and dragged me inside the room. He walked towards me after closing the door behind him.
