"Are you sure about it??" I heard a familiar voice and when i turned around I found Evelyn leaning on side of the door. "Pretty sure" i replied
"Athena why're you trying to destroy your life. " she said with concern in her eyes. Well that's true that i am taking a big risk but i don't know why but I want to do it.
"Look Eve i know that i am taking a big risk but there is no love without risk" i said "You love him???" She asks Shit!!! I shouldn't have said that. Now what am i going to do because i also don't know whether I love him or not.
"I really don't know about that " i replied "Thea look he loved Amelia and then all of sudden he wants to marry you don't you think this is strange??" She asks
Strange? It is but at least he is trying to move on
"Eve calm down today is my engagement not my wedding " i said and squeezed her hand. "But you will get married to him one day won't you " she said.
"Maybe or may not be" i replied She looked at me confusedly. I took a deep breath and decided to explain her everything.
"Look i and Andrew have decided that after our engagement i will move in with him and that way we can spend more time with each other. So that we can come on a decision whether we want marry or not"
"You mean you will be in living relationships with him" she asked. I nodded my head in yes.
"That's great " she said with a sigh. "I don't want to marry a guy who doesn't love me you know" i said. She nodded in understanding. And i have a feeling that my life with Andrew is going to be very interesting. And i can't wait to start my new life with him.
I have already mentally prepared myself for the decision that we will take that is whether we will marry or not. It doesn't matter what will happen at the end. What matters is that i will not have a regret that i didn't took a chance on him in future.
This is the biggest risk i ever took in my life. Taking a risk may make me regret it. However, if not taking a risk leads to more regret, then taking a risk is a good choice.
"What happened guys??" Amelia asked while entering my room. "Nothing " Evelyn replied She narrowed her eyes at us not believing what we are saying but thankfully she doesn't asks any further questions.
"Anyways Athena you only have 3 hrs to get ready come on be quick " she said hurriedly while pushing me towards the bathroom to take a quick shower.
After taking a shower i wrapped myself in a bath robe and came out of the bathroom. When i walked out of the bathroom i found two girls waiting for me. "Good evening ma'am " one of them greeted me. I gave them a nod in acknowledgement.
I sat on the stool and they started doing my makeup. Within 1 hour they were done with my makeup and hairstyle. I decided to have a simple makeup and tied my hair in a stylish bun.
After that it was finally time to wear my beautiful gown. I looked at the evening gown kept on my bed. It's a beautiful sweetheart neckline navy blue gown. When i saw the gown in the shop i knew that i need to buy it. I paired my gown with silver heels and sapphire earrings. When i was satisfied by my look i decided to walk downstairs.
