The sun was shinning brightly which tells that its already morning. It has been almost half an hour since i woke up but i am too lazy to get out of the bed.
But laziness is not the only reason why i am not getting out of the bed. Actually I am waiting for Evelyn to barge in my room to wish me a very happy birthday.
That's right today's my birthday. Well i am not very fond of celebrating my birthday but this year it's different. And for some weird reason this year i was looking forward for my birthday celebration. But i don't know why Evelyn has not wish me happy birthday.
Maybe she is waiting for me downstairs with my favorite breakfast. With these thoughts in my mind I decided to get ready for the day.
I took a very long bath and washed my hair with my favorite lavender shampoo. After taking the bath i wrapped myself in a bathrobe and made my way towards the walk in closet.
First i dried my hair with the help of a hairdryer. And then spent 15mins in selecting the perfect outfit. Today i have put some extra effort in getting ready.
I decided to wear something which is not very formal or casual. I choose to wear a white satin turtleneck dress. I paired my outfit with black heels and matching accessories. I tied my hair in a ponytail.

I walked towards the dinning room and found mom sitting the table. "Good morning mom...." i hugged her tightly. "Morning my sweetheart. All set to go for office " she asked. I nodded my head in yes.
After few minutes everyone came downstairs for breakfast. I took my seat and looked towards Evelyn. She looked happy and calm.
Have she forgotten my birthday? No, Evelyn will never my forget my birthday. Maybe she is waiting for the right time.
"What happened Athena? Why do you look sad?" Amelia. "Nothing...." i replied. I was tired of waiting so i decided to give some hints to Evelyn.
"Eve do you know what is today?" I asked her. She frowned and then replied with a smile "Oh how can i forget that..." finally she remembers. "Today.....is.....Friday. It's weekend. Let's party"
No that's not what i meant. It means Evelyn really forget my birthday. Well i am sad but I can't blame her for forgetting my birthday. There are so many problems in our life. The family is in a chaos. So maybe in all these stress she forgot my birthday. It's ok.
I ate my breakfast in silence and then left for the office. As soon as i walked inside my cabin i found my cabin filled with many flowers bouquet. Many clients have sent there good wishes.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY MA'AM " my secretary Nancy wished me. She walked inside my cabin with a two tier chocolate cake. All the employees gave there best wishes and i decided to throw a lunch party on occasion of my birthday.
