Xavier tugged me closer to him as we sat on the couch. In front of us sat Lacey on Carter’s lap. We were all just sitting in silence, in our own little worlds.

Shutting my eyes I replayed that past weeks in my mind. First, moving here almost a month ago. Meeting Xavier, Carter, and Lacey. Getting my father sent to a place that was good for him.

It felt like a magical ending. I was with the boy I loved. Opening my eyes I looked up to Xavier, he was already staring down at me. “I love you.” He said as he came closer and closer to me.

Fluttering my eyes closed I responded, “I love you more.” This time Xavier held on to me tight. Pulling me on to his lap, he attacked my lips.

I let him and felt fireworks and tingles. It was overwhelming. He gently licked my lower lip asking for an entrance. Smirking I denied entrance.

I could feel the vibration of his growl as he bit down a little on my lower lip. Giggle I pulled away. “That tickled!” My lip felt tingles and numb. Bruised.

“Ahem.” My eyes widened as I looked at a smirking Lacey and laughing Carter. “Guess you guys forgot about us.” Shrugging I snuggled into Xavier a little more.

When we got home I changed into some boy shorts and Xavier’s large gray sweater that reached me mid thigh. It felt so comfortable. “Sweetheart, are you cold?” Xavier asked in a concerned voice rubbing my knee.

I shivered at the contact and shook my head a no. “Awe babes come back soon.”  I looked over to see a pouting Lacey and an amused looking Carter.

“I told you on Monday clearly.” He put his hands on his hips and leaned to one side. “You were all like. Carter can you pass me my tampons.”

I laughed out loud rolling off of Xavier’s lap. His impression sounded just like her. UMPG! A pillow hit Carter’s face. A very mad looking Lacey crossed her arms.

“Dude get on with the story I do not need to know my sister is PMSing.” Then Carter stood straight, straighter then his usual self pretending to lift weights.

“Then I was like, babe get it yourself. Oh and on Friday I’m going to be out hanging with the guys.”  His voice had gotten deeper and deeper. I was on the floor clutching my stomach from laughing so hard by then.

“Sweetheart, calm down. This happens everyday.”  Swiping the tears of my face I sat back up. “This will take some time getting used to.” 

Xavier lifted me up making me straddle him. “Um we’ll just be in the other room saying our goodbyes.”  “No sex on the dinning table! I eat there.” I could hear a damn it coming from Lacey as they left Xavier and I alone.

Picking on a strand of Xavier’s hair I looked in his eyes. Suddenly having the urge to ask him the thing that has been on my mind for the past days I finally found the courage to. “Xavier, why do you eyes change color?”
