I just really want to apologies about the short chapters. I've not been feeling so well, but try my best to keep on writing. Sorry again for how short all the chapters are, this summer everything will be under construction and I will fix the mistakes. The chapter is dedicated to Fantasy_girl21 for the lovely cover on the side. Thanks again!
~Xavier
The soft snores coming out of Sasha’s mouth breezed through the air. I held her tighter against me leaving out any space from her to escape from my death grip. I really needed to vent out the emotions I was feeling, but my little sweetheart has enough on her already full plate.
Sasha snuggled closer to me, if that was even possible and wrapped her arms around my neck. Looking into her peaceful face, I was mesmerized by the way she looked. There wasn’t a moment sense I first saw her that I wasn’t aw struck by the way she looked. Her black hair cascaded down her back like a waterfall.
I played with the slight curls on the end. Her bright pink lips were parted letting out soft snores. Breathing in her fruity scent, fatigue suddenly took over. Pulling up the blanket over the two of us, I fell into a deep slumber

“Xavier.” Poke. “Xavier.” Poke. “I need to pee!” Groaning slightly I opened my eyes to a frantic mate. Her hair was messy and eyes wide open. Confused slightly I squinted at her. “Then go.” She rolled her glass blue eyes before squirming.
“As you can see that is not possible because. YOU ARE HOLDING ME!” Her voice rose with each word spoken. Flinching at her yelling at me I let go. “Oh right, sorry.” Letting her go, she bolted toward my bathroom.
The sheets felt cold as I rolled over onto my side. 11:45 am. Letting out a yawn I got up. Pulling my shirt over my head I headed to my closet. Grabbing the necessary thing for a shower I walked over to my bathroom. Opening the door the first thing I heard was a high pitched scream.
“AHHH!” Flinching from the Sasha’s scream I backed away. “What’s wrong?” Looking around the bathroom I couldn’t find anything that might harm her. Walking over toward her, I watched as she took a step back. “Don-don’t come near me.”
I stood still with a hurt look on my face. My wolf growled at not being able to comfort his mate. “Sweetheart. What are you talking about?” “It’s. It’s true isn’t it? You’re a were- you.” Her eyes held fear as she watched me. I ached to hold her in my arms like I did a few minutes ago.
“I’m a werewolf.” Sasha almost collapsed to the ground before I reached for her. Cradling her in my arms on the bathroom floor, I waited for her to awake. “Sweetie, I need you to get up.” Her breath was still a little ragged, but I could feel her stirring to get up.
“I wasn’t dreaming was I?” Gazing into her fear stricken face I knew I couldn’t lie. Nodding I pulled her closer to my chest. “Please don’t be scared.” Closing my eyes I savored the sweet moment we were having. “You’re the only one I want and need.”
I could hear her slight gasp as I spoke. “I-I don’t know what to think anymore.” Pulling her away I sat her on my lap. “Then talk to me.” She glanced down at her hands playing with them. “When did you first shift?” I smiled at her question. She wasn’t going to reject me.
“I was 15 when I first shifted.” She nodded before speaking again. “Who else are werewolves?” Sighing in fatigue I answered. “Almost everyone in this town, there are a few humans, but they know of our kind because their mated.”
She let out a chocked breath. “Everyone?” She asked her self quietly. Resting my head in the crook of her neck, I let her continue with her question game. “What is a mate?” Stiffening slightly I looked up into her eyes. All her blue eyes held were curiosity. No hint of fear.
“A mate is a werewolf’s soul mate. Their other half. The one they spend the rest of their life with.” Looking at her with my eyes shinning with pride for telling her what she was to me I was shocked when she got up off my lap.
She stomped her way to our room. “Sasha where are you going?!” I was in the middle of telling her she was my mate. “You need to find your mate.” Her voice held pain and sorrow. Using my wolf speed I pinned her to the bed. She avoided my eyes.
“I don’t understand why you’re telling me you’re a werewolf and lying to me about loving me when your mate is out their somewhere.” I could hear the anger, sadness and jealousy coated in her voice. Tears trailed down her pink tinted cheeks.
Cupping her cheeks I made her look at me. “You are my everything. My life revolves around you. I can’t stand a second without you near me. My wolf howls in pleasure when ever you smile. He cries out in pain whenever he sees you sad like right now. My love for you can’t be any more real than it already is. I would fight for you until my last dying breath.” By now we were both in tears.
I could show Sasha my deepest emotion and still not know what she thinks of me and right now I was showing her the deepest vulnerable side. The side where I would die if I ever thought of a moment without her beside me.
“Ho- how can you say that to a girl like me? You can’t love someone as broken and ruined as me!” Softly pushing away the tears I looked into her eyes. Letting out a humorless laugh I spoke. “Sasha Violet Summers I don’t know how else to explain this anymore than I already have. You are my mate!”
Heavily breathing as if I just ran a thousand miles. I waited for a response. “I’m your mate?” Laughing I looked down at her tear stained face. A single tear fell down onto her face. It wasn’t hers. “Yes.” She pulled me down onto her crashing our lips together. Finally I can call the girl I love my mate.
