It was everything you ever dreamed.

After everyone had walked down the aisle, the guests stood up, Emilia and Jules walking down the aisle, throwing the flower petals
along the aisle's carpet.

And then it was your turn.

It was when you walked onto that aisle that you really felt it. That man standing at the front, smiling at you. He was going to be your husband.

You gripped onto Rantaro's arm, partly because of nerves, and partly because of excitement.

"You seem excited." He barely whispered.

"You'll be acting like this at you and Kiyo's wedding."

"Don't go thinking that at your wedding."

He led you down the aisle and to the front, right next to Kokichi. His cheeks were dusted pink, as yours probably were.

The officient began saying words of welcome to the guests, but you couldn't stop staring at Kokichi. It was cute how he was all dressed up. He was normally wearing rather casual clothes, a checkered pattern located somewhere on the outfit.

Well, he had a folded handkerchief in his chest pocket that had a checkered pattern, but it was less noticeable if you didn't look hard enough.

"We are gathered here today to celebrate the marriage of Kokichi and Y/N. These two have been through thick and thin together, and have had a closer bond than many. We hope to see them happily married after this ceremony."

He continued on with the responsibilities of the marriage, and how important your vows are. He gave you all sorts of things like candles, veils and such, representing different times you will face in your relationship.

Then, it finally came.

"Now for the vows."

Kokichi was handed his envelope and he smiled down at the words.

"Y/N, we met years ago, but it feels like we introduced ourselves just yesterday. Little did we know, that fateful day would lead us here. There are very few people that manage to gain my trust in the time that you did, let alone my heart."

He gave a rather smug grin and continued.

"On the other hand, very few people manage to manage me. But you did. By some freaking miracle, you continued to stay by my side and care for me. Every time I wasn't with you, it felt like I was missing something. You are vital to me, and that's no lie."

You smiled, tears forming at the corners of your eyes. He was so cute when he was being sentimental. Rantaro walked up next to you and handed you a paper.

"Alright..." You whispered.

"Kokichi, it's been a rollercoaster few years, with everything that's gone on in both our lives. We've both had our ups and downs, but you've always been there. You were there to wipe my tears when I needed you. I'm not sure what I did to deserve anything you've done for me. But whether or not I needed it, you were always there."

You smiled, your face feeling warm.

"When I looked at you, I felt like my heart would burst at any moment. The way you smiled, the way you giggled, even the way you'd glance to the side. You made me smile. It's been years since we met, but whatever the future holds, I want you to be there, right next to me."

"And now, the rings."

Aron came walking down, the rings on the small cushion. You and Kokichi placed them on each other's ring fingers.

The officiant nodded and looked at Kokichi. "Do you promise to love Y/N, comfort them, honour and cherish them, in sickness and health, in trying times and smooth, in lean times and full, all the days of your lives? If so, say I do."

Kokichi nodded. "I do."

"And Y/N. Do you promise to love Kokichi, comfort him, honour and cherish him, in sickness and health, in trying times and smooth, in lean times and full, all the days of your lives? If so, say I do."

You nodded. "I do."

"Then, by the power vested in me, I know pronounce you husband and wife/husband. You may kiss."

You put your hands on Kokichi's cheeks, his around your waist, and your lips connected.

"I love you."

"I love you more."
