The hallway is almost empty, except for a few Erudite who linger the walkway. Most of them look like they're trying hard not to forget something.
I can't stand them.
Marie, Arnold and Lucas and Dove are most likely in their prison cells, so I need to get to the basement - according to the sign in the lobby.
I follow the direction of the other Erudite, in hopes that they will carry me to an exit down to the cellar. Keeping up with Erudite is a challenge in itself, but manageable. Eventually, more Erudite guards will be after me, so I need to get to my friends fast. I swerve down another hallway and follow the Erudite down until I see the bright red letters spell out EXIT on top of a door. I start to jog and reach about four feet away from the door when I hear a female scream. It sounds a lot like Kay's, so I stop in my tracks and listen.
She screams again.
It can't be Kay.
And its not, because when the girl screams for the third time, I am able to identify who it is.

Marie.
