The Dauntless march towards us in unison, walking side by side - right past Jeanine, and directly to us. They reach for our arms and we try to break away, but they are too strong. They carry us by our upper arms in the direction they came from. When we approach Jeanine, the guards don't let us go and they captivate us in a tight grip. My fear quickly fades into a shade of deep hatred and anger as Jeanine begins to speak. I free my scraped hand from the guard and punch her hard in the nose, leaving a dark pink mark of on her pale, white skin. She falls to the floor with a grunt and wipes her face. She gets up, a little farther from us than before, and begins again.
"Don't be foolish," She says looking at me.
"I have no respect, nor tolerance, for such behavior from filthy divergents, like you."
"Lucky for you, Im not divergent." Dove snaps in her best attempt at sounding tempered.
"Good. Then we won't waste our time on you. Derek, she knows too much -send her to lab 39A."
The guard who holds Dove nods at Jeanine and drags her away in the opposite direction, and continues down the hall leaving nothing behind but Dove's scream.
"No! I will kill you if you touch her!" I scream at Jeanine. But its too late, Dove is gone. She's out of my reach and I can't help her. She leaves me once again, and I am unable to move once more.
