Where were we?

*You walk back into the main room and you hear Tony and Steve talking about James leaving... and something in you snaps*
Y/N- Excuse me I have an announcement!
*Everyone turns to look at you.. even James walks into the room with Grant and Grant is watching you*
Y/N- James will leave when he feels like it and when Bucky and I are ready to send him back.
He is helping us with Grant and getting to know his son. And anyone who has a problem with that can fight me..
Steve- Really y/n?? He needs-
Y/N- You wanna fight Rogers?! Because I have so much unbridled rage and feelings of inadequacy that have been building up that I am ready to take out on someone..
*Bucky backs up and gives Steve the "you're on your own look"... Nat smiles and backs away as well*
Steve- All I'm saying is the longer he is here the more we are running the risk of Hydra coming to look for him..
Y/N- He has been here 7 months with no issues.. next excuse..
*Steve just shakes his head... you look around and no one says a word*
Y/N- Awesome! So James stays until he feels he should leave.
*You take Grant from James and walk back to your room.. Steve looks at Bucky*
Steve- You could've helped ya know...
*Bucky shakes his head and laughs*
Bucky- Nope! Her 6 weeks are almost up and there is no way I'm about to get on her bad side..
*Steve throws a book at him and Bucky laughs and catches it*

*Its been about 3 days and you are outside walking around the compound with Grant and Peter*
Y/N- So what's her name?
*Peter blushes*
Peter- MJ.. she's... she's amazing! And she thinks you're awesome... and actually, we have an assignment in English to write about someone who has overcome great odds.. she was wondering is she could write her paper on you.. I told her I'd ask.
*You smile*
Y/N- I'd love to meet MJ! And she has my permission to write about me..
Peter- Awesome!!
*You and Peter finish your walk and head back inside.. James was waiting by the door.. he takes Grant and feeds him while you finish up your plans for Nat*
Y/N- Can you watch him while I talk to Nat and Steve?
James- Yeah
Y/N- I think Bucky is napping so if Grant gets fussy just bring him to me..
*James laughs*
James- y/n.. I'm fine.. I am his father after all.
*You laugh and kiss James on the cheek.. you find Steve and Nat in the lab with Bruce*
Y/N- Perfect you're all here!
Steve- Hey y/n
Y/N- So Plan Baby Rogers..
*Nat and Steve smile*
Y/N- we are gonna need the Infinity Stones... all of them... once we have them all we can use them to heal you and it will be like you never had the ceremony to begin with. Now the problem lies in finding all the stones and finding someone strong enough to weld all of them.. but I think we can do it.
Steve- That's crazy..
Nat- But it's just might work..
Y/N- Let's get started
Bruce- Umm why am I here? Please don't tell me I have to snap again..
Y/N- No! You're just the closest thing we have to a doctor here so I figured you should be involved..
Bruce- Gotcha... okay let's do this..
*You and Nat start making a plan on how to get the rest of the stones while Steve and Bruce start finding people who could weld the stones.. and who would be willing to*

*About 2 hours later James walks in with Grant and all work comes to a halt*
Steve- Ahhhh let me at him! *He takes Grant and starts talking to him and telling stories*
James- Y/N.. can I talk to you?
Y/N- Yeah James..
*You and James walk to his room*
James- I've loved the extra couple days here... but I think it's times.. I'm ready.
*You try not to cry*
Y/N- Okay... umm when were you thinking of leaving?
James- Tonight.. I've already talked to Tony and Bucky.. they are getting everything ready as we speak..
Y/N- Okay... I guess there is no stopping you huh?
James- No *he laughs* as much as I've enjoyed being here I miss past you... I want to go back to a time where I can kiss you anytime I want and not worry about getting decked by myself.
*You laugh*
Y/N- I love you James Bucky Barnes..
James- I love you too..
*He leans in and innocently kisses you.. then pulls you into a hug*
*James leaves and spends his last few hours with Grant.. you find Bucky*

Y/N- He's leaving
*Bucky looks at you.. he actually looks sad for you*
Bucky- Yeah... he told me. I'm sorry Baby..
*Bucky hugs you as you cry*
Bucky- Is there anything I can do?
*You look up at him*
Y/N- Don't ever leave me..
Bucky- Never..
*You lean in and Bucky closes the distance and kisses you. He wraps his arms around you and runs his hands along your back.. he picks you up and you wrap your legs around his waist. He turns you around and sits you on the table.. you break the kiss and take some short deep breaths.. he leans his forehead against yours*
Y/N- We can't *You say between breaths* not yet..
*Bucky kisses your forehead*
Bucky- Okay.. *He pulls you into a hug and rubs your back.. James walks in and hands You Grant*
James- He was starting to get fussy..
*You smile*
Y/N- Thank you James
*He kisses your cheek and walks out of the room*
