Slow F*ck Day pt 3- Do We Wake Him

****Steve and the Family****
*About 5 minutes down the road*
Sam- oh dear god what is that smell?!?
Peter- It was Grant..
*Sam looks at Big Grant*
Grant- Baby me!
*Everyone laughs*
Nat- Peter was it gas or poop?
Peter- oh poop!!! Definitely poop!
Tony- Peter I swear if you puke in this car I'll kill you..
Peter- I'm fine.... Sarah on the other hand.
Sarah- Take the child lock off!!!
*She sticks her head out of the window.. Steve and Nat laugh*

*They pull up to the mini golf*
Steve- Wow... Tony you really spruced this place up!
Nat- What did you do all of this?!
Pepper- He's been working on it since he bought it..
Little Morgan- alright... who's ready to lose?!?
*Everyone laughs*
Tony- She's not joking! She's gotten really good!
*Nat gets Grant changed and then she finds a nice spot to sit.. Steve joins her*
Nat- Hey *He looks at her* how are you today??
*Steve slightly smiles*
Steve- I'm better than I've been in the past... you know he's alive and he's okay now but... for over 70 years he wasn't.. and all because I couldn't save him.
Nat- Steve you did the best you could..
*Steve smiles and kisses her*
Steve- Having you in my life is one of the best things to happen to me.. did you know that?
*She laughs*
Nat- I figured *She smirks and Steve laughs*
*He pulls her close and takes Grant... he looks at Steve and start to whimper*
Steve- Hey?! What's wrong bud?!
*Wanda yells over*
Wanda- He knows something is up with Bucky and Y/N... He wants to go home..
Winnie- Same! Please?! Like I get needing to get some but having us leave every year for the whole day... *He sits down next to Steve and pouts* it's ridiculous... I mean you were there and you don't need a whole day!
*Steve looks at Winnie... Nat takes Grant and gives them a moment.. Big Grant walks over*
Steve- It's more than them just wanting to "get some" Winnie... your father died that day and for years he was never the same... he still isn't the same Bucky that I knew because that kind of trauma changes you.. and I do need a whole day but I need to be surrounded by my loved ones. Your father needs to be alone with your mom because she is the person who loved him through it all... she loved the Winter Soldier and Bucky.. she brought back a piece of him that he thought he had lost when he fell.. so he needs to be with her and only her.. and honestly Winnie until you free fall from thousands of feet in the air to icy water and snow you don't get to judge how someone deals with their trauma... *She looks at him remembering his story*
Winnie- Uncle Steve I'm sorry I-
Steve- I know and I appreciate your apology.. I hope you and your siblings never have to go through anything like that but you will never fully understand what this day means parents.. today marks the end of one life and the beginning of a very painful one and however your dad decides to heal is his choice. He's not hurting anyone and I can guarantee he feels more loved than ever at the moment..
*Winnie and Grant smile*
Winnie- Okay uncle Steve..
Grant- Thanks..
*Steve smiles*
Steve- Okay... now who's ass am I gonna beat at Mini golf?
*They laugh and Steve hears Little Grant crying*
Steve- Oh boy... he's just like your father.. sassy and loud..

*Steve walks up to nat*
Steve- What's going on bud?!
Nat- He's hungry but he is refusing the bottle...
Steve- Yikes... okay, you want me to try? Give you a break.. *She smiles and kisses Steve*
*Steve takes Grant and holds him close... trying to calm him down... he was screaming and turning red.. nothing was helping*
Steve- Uhhh Wanda?!? A little help!
*Wanda comes over*
Wanda- Yeah he's mad...
Steve- I figured that!
*Wanda laughs*
Wanda- He just misses Bucky and y/n... he wants mommy and daddy... *She rubs his head as he cry*
Steve- Okay... *He looks at Grant* don't worry Grant.. we will see them soon.. okay? Just breath bud... sh sh sh sh *He bounces him and gets the bottle in his mouth... Grant drinks it but he's unhappy the whole time... once he's full he is in a better mood... so then he decides to be mischievous*
Yelena- Oh my god what is that on your shirt?!?
*Steve looks down and he is covered in shit.. he looks at Grant who just smiles*
Steve- really?!?
*Grant smiles and Steve just sighs and heads to the bathroom*
Steve- Okay... you've got to cool it bud... we will not take you home early just because you pitch a fit..
*Grant starts to pout and then let's put a loud cry... he then starts to scream and cry even more.. Steve just cleans him up and cleans his shirt.. Grant screams the whole time and Steve just lets him*
Steve- I know but I told you it's not gonna work.. *Grant pouts and buries his face in Steve's neck*
Steve- I know buddy.. you're just making yourself tired.. *Grant starts to suck his thumb and fall asleep on Steve*
Steve- It's not nap time bud.. sorry..
*He has to wake him up... Grant freaks out.. Steve walks out of the bathroom and the whole team is just staring at him*
Nat- You two good?
*pepper takes Grant*
Pepper- Whats wrong?!
Steve- He's pitching a fit because he wants to go home and I told him no...
*Grant takes a big shakey breath*
Peter- Hey Grant! Come here.. *Peter takes Grant and creates a swing with his web.. he sits and swings with Grant and he calms down a little*

*Sam looks at Big Grant*
Sam- Wow... Drama queen... Buck up dude..
*Big Grant sighs and walks away.. he takes Sarah's hand and pulls her away too... she looks back at little Grant*
Sarah- He looks so sad.. Grant..
Grant- What?! You wanna stay with baby me?!
*She smiles and walks back over.. she swings with Peter*
Grant- Wow... okay baby me.. it's on!
*Little Grant smiles*
Little Morgan- Hey I wanna swing!
*Sarah picks Morgan up and swings with her. Pepper and Tony smile and sit on a bench across from them.. Sam, Yelena, and Wanda keep playing. Nat and Steve take a moment away*
Nat- You good? *She laughs*
Steve- Yeah.. he's just really spirited..
*Nat pulls him close and then pushes him away*
Steve- Hey-
Nat- You smell like baby poop...
*Steve laughs and pulls her into a hug.. she screams and he kisses her cheek*
Steve- Okay... everyone load up.. I need to go get a new shirt before we head to lunch.

*Steve sneaks into the compound and gets his shirt... once he gets in the car they head back out*
Tony- I just got a notification that the cameras were turned off... everything okay?
Steve- yeah... y/n and Bucky were in there..
*Tony rolls his eyes and Pepper shakes her head. Grant and Winnie let their disgust be known* Tony- Great..
Nat- Oh Tony.. we all know you've done worse..
*Pepper blushes and big Morgan rolls her eyes*
Steve- Anyway.. let's go! Off to lunch!
*They eat and Little Grant only loses it twice... Big Grant only once*
Grant- okay... I'm gonna need you to stop gushing over baby me and pay attention to me..
*Sarah laughs*
Sarah- calm down... I'll pay attention to you tonight..
*Grant blushes*
Steve- okay, no!
*Sarah smiles and waves off her dads comment... Nat smiles and whispers in Steve's ear*
Nat- Calm down Captain...
*Steve smiles and squeezes her thigh... Little Grant laughs*
Steve- Hey you made Grant laugh!
*Nat smiles and kisses and tickles Grant*
*They leave and head to the park*
Winnie- Okay, I get why they need the day.... But can we go home now?!
*Nat looks at Steve*
Nat- It is almost dinner time... look Little Grant is getting sunburnt..
Steve- Shit! Y/n is going to kill me..
*Everyone laughs*
Steve- Yeah... let's head back..
*Grant was having the time of his life playing in the grass with Peter so when Steve picked him up and strapped him into his seat.. He. Lost. It.*
Steve- Really?!? Just relax bud! We are going to see mama and daddy! Yay!! *Nat Chuckles*
Nat- You're cute.. *She kisses his cheek and he smiles.. she kisses Grant too and he calms down a little*
Nat- Sarah! Come hold little Grants hand.. make him clam down..
Sarah- okay!!
*Big Grant looks hurt*
Grant- you didn't have to sound so enthusiastic!
*Everyone laughs*
Steve- It must run in the family...
Tony- What??
Steve- Being jealous of your younger self
*All the guys crack up and Big Grant pouts in the back of the van... little Grant screamed until he feel asleep mid scream*
*Everyone looks around and smiles... Thor was about to speak and everyone gave him a look... he pouts too. They pull in and everyone gets out.*
Steve- Do we wake him?
Nat- No! You remember what happened when you woke him up earlier.. *Steve stares off and nods*
Steve- Well we can't leave him..
Nat- Of course not! Just gently lift him out of his seat and then hold him tight..
*Steve does just that and it works... they get inside and lay him in your room and leave.. they get to the kitchen*
Steve- Oh thank god!!
*They both laugh*
Nat- I know he was only acting that way because he was scared for Bucky, which is sweet, but dear lord I am thankful to hand him back to y/n and Bucky..
*Steve laughs and kisses Nat*
Steve- Alright. Let's get cooking..
