"He's almost here, no one overreact, ok?" I look every single wolf in the eyes, making sure they all understand.
Jackson has never introduced us to someone, even me which means this is most likely his chosen mate. Honestly, I have waited years for this. Who else deserves the unconditional love of a mate, than a man like Jackson?
Everyone falls quiet as the door opens, Jackson steps inside first, before allowing a tall lean man in behind him. Everyone remains calm as promised.
But I couldn't do it, I couldn't contain myself.
"Hi!" I blurt out, bursting with happiness for my best friend as I quickly approach them both.
"I'm the best friend, who are you?" I beam, not beating around the bush as I ask for a title.
"Um..I guess the boyfriend?" He awkwardly responds.
The guy glances at Jackson, raising his eyebrows slightly in question. Jackson just grins and slings his arms over both of our shoulders.
"Kali, meet Caleb. Caleb, Kali." Jackson Introduces with a smile that could light up New York City.
"It's nice to meet you, do I call you Alpha?" Caleb asks me with a slightly unsure tone.
"You can call me whatever Jackson calls me." I shrug, not particularly caring about titles. He's going to be family.
"Bitch." Jackson coughs out, banging his chest as he chuckles.
I dig my elbow into his stomach in response, rolling my eyes. The growl that resonates in warning however, that comes directly from the Alpha. Jackson chuckles nervously, his cheeks turning the lightest shade of pink.
I just smirk, not needing to turn around to know Hardin is walking towards us. I felt his warmth enveloping me as he wraps his arm around my waist, his large size instantly makes me feel secure against him.
"Alpha Hardin." Jackson introduces Caleb, making it very clear with his words that Hardin is to be addressed as Alpha. Even Zed who Hardin is closest too calls him Alpha, always.
"Dinner is almost ready, you're welcome to stay." Hardin asks Jackson and his chosen mate, his silent way of accepting Calebs presence in his house.
"Thank you, Alpha Hardin." Caleb says, giving a nod of respect despite looking so uneasy.
Perhaps he's never been in the presence of an Alpha?
"Are you busy?" I ask Hardin with a raised eyebrow, giving Jackson and Caleb a wave as I take Hardins hand and lead him outside.
"No." He shakes his head.
"Good, We're going baby shopping. Also, how do you feel about helping me with the wolves after dinner?" I ask hopefully.
It's been four weeks since I started training them, a whole month, but even with pink clothing and towels, they're not taking the hint. My next plan was to put them in heels, but I think that's pushing it too far.
"Works for me." He agrees easily. "What are we going baby shopping for?"
"Baby stuff." I respond in a duh tone.
While I want to take the Bugatti sheerly because it's my baby, I doubt Hardin will fit inside. So I get into his Matt black range, knowing Lucifer is safely put away in my bedroom upstairs.
I know it's not ideal, but last week I let him loose and he almost tore a pups hand off. It's safe to say he's also aggressive towards children, and anyone that approaches him. He's fine if he's left alone, most of the time anyway, but I'd rather keep my eye on him at all times to avoid him attacking any kids.
