The title might or might not be something that happens literally.

Just a small heads up, a scene might be a lil triggering. You'll notice when it starts. It's not much and quickly done, but everyone reacts to things differently.

Enjoy!

The rest of the day after the diamond incident seems to be mocking me. Everything that happens the rest of the day reminds me of the subject, frustrating me.

I meet Kace by the outer doors. Wooden doors and walls keeping the stony castle somewhat safe. We start walking around Asteria's town.

"So how did it go?" Kace's question and curiosity makes me even more annoyed and I just give him an unbothered glance. His only response is a furrowed brow.

"That bad huh?"

"Please stop talking about it, I want to cool off first before I give any information on the subject."

Fortunately he leaves it at that, but still has a knowing smile on his face.

We walk around and stop by some shops.

Wanting to help people that can't take care of themselves, we buy some bread and bring some water from the town's well. We offer food and drink to the people sitting alone and pleading for anything, who thank us in gratefulness. Even when they have nothing they try to give us something in return. We just smile and say no, leaving them before they push something into our hands.

The fact that a lot of the good people have to live in bad conditions is heartbreaking, they don't deserve it. Especially not when a lot of the town's members usually treat them bad. So, we try to help them in some ways that we can.

"Okay I can start throwing shit now," the blacksmith that we're walking by quickly turns to me in fear when he hears what I said.

"No no, not actually throw it, I'm not gonna trash your place!" I quickly fixed my statement. Kace just lets out a snort.

Not that the blacksmith should listen into others' conversations.

"So I decided to start in Demir's room, but guess what? This annoying ugly faced rat comes and says 'next time you should make sure it's the right room' . Like dude, I don't know where exactly you sleep and live." Kace just puts a supporting hand on my shoulder.

"Then he just mocked me and even let me go through his room just to make fun of me and after me just staring at him for like ten minutes he just says I won't find it there," I let out a loud groan.

"As if I didn't know that already but the room search was needed to start the look out for the diamond."

I can see Kace trying to keep it cool, but his facade is slowly starting to collapse.
