"When you're done, you can head to the biggest cottage. The boys there were asking for more help." Calls out Lacuna's guard trainer.

I throw a thumb up into the air, telling him without words that I will head there after I'm done with my part by the smaller cottage.

I take off the bark off a small tree with my axe that I cut down myself an hour ago or so. I let the lighter tone show up from under the bark. When the tree is completely bare, I lift it up on its place with some help by a guard. We fasten it to the plank under and to the ones coming from the sides.

I clap the guard on its back, signaling that we're done here and he goes to take his break while I head towards the biggest cottage that we're building just outside of Lacuna's town.

The sun isn't shining right at us, but the small peaks are enough to make the air warm. Since we're working hard and fast on the cottages, which are meant for extra space for people that got their houses burnt in Belrynna, we're all sweating like pigs and panting like dogs.

I lightly jog to get there faster and to be done with this sooner than later.

I'd rather feel my muscles ache tomorrow and get it done sooner, than take the whole day building these cottages. Thankfully we're quite many helping the townspeople that decided to do this, but we're definitely not enough people to be stationed on the three cottages.

By the time we're done with all of the cottages, the sky is getting quite dark, and I've been reported that the guards on scouting work outside of Lacuna have already gotten back. With a prisoner, which surprised me a lot.

I take a few steps back together with the other workers to look at the last cottage, wiping my hands on a rag that had some water in it.

"Good work everyone. And thank you for everyone's help, it made this project get finished much faster than it would originally have been. We owe you." The project leader smiles at me and the guards, and I shake my head.

"You don't have to think about that, you don't owe us anything. We're happy we could help." I smile back and give a small nod and a look at the different people before I head back towards the castle.

A guard stops me on my way to the castle, quickly explaining the situation of the prisoner. He doesn't mention any names, but I catch the usage of 'she' and 'her' pronounces, and I frown.

A she as a prisoner?

It isn't too rare there's women as prisoners, but definitely less than what we have of men or other people. I tell the guard that I will arrive shortly to check up on the situation and he leaves to go inform the prison guards.

I quickly get to my room and change my dirty and sweaty t-shirt to a normal long sleeved shirt, not bothering to pep up into my Zelos leathers. Though I don't forget my knife, which is hidden behind my back, attached to my pants but resting under my shirt.
