The next day after our date, Reyna got some new type of motivation to actually get out of the cabin. She willingly came with me to Lacuna, without me having to bargain or drag her out from the wooden building.

We rode our own horses and the second we landed in Lacuna's grounds. Reyna nearly threw the reins to her horse to me and ran in the other direction. She did have enough time to say not to follow her because she was getting me a gift.

I couldn't do more than laugh and shake my head and take the horses to the stables.

I talked with some guards while waiting on Reyna and doing exactly what she asked me to do. Though I did stay close enough to keep an eye on her so nothing unexpected could happen.

I lost her a few times, but always caught a glance of the girl - speed walking through the town from one shop building or shop table to another. Well, I could probably say I caught glimpses of my girl.

Though I don't want to objectify her, since she isn't mine. She is her own person. And that she will always be.

While I wait for her to be done, I go to some food shops to buy some necessary foodstuffs like milk and bread, and anything else we are or soon will be empty of.

It seems I timed my shopping exactly right, since when I get to the last shop, Dorian's and Calian's bread shop, she comes smiling to us - a bag hiding whatever she has bought. All four of us talked for a while, the boys smiling at me with knowing smirks.

They knew what my plans were for yesterday and by the way me and Reyna were standing close to each other and not arguing every second, they knew how it had gone.

And I know those two will be asking for a lot of questions and probably details when they catch me alone. Though they won't get details on specific things that they might think has happened, because it never happened.

We said goodbye, a fresh warm bread in the paper bag Dorian gave me before I left.

"Did you find whatever you were looking for in your shopping spree?" I ask.

Reyna looks at me with a mischievous look.

"I in fact did." She says.

"Ready to go home-" I cough, catching my wording. "Sorry. Ready to go back to the cabin?"

She stays quiet till we get to the stables, the few meters in silence killing me.

"I'm ready to.. go home." She smiles at me.

And my heart wants to burst.

I smile and help her up on Saskia, which she protests a little against, but let's me do it either way.
