"Hey Rey." I hear a voice say behind me.

I turn to the male voice, smiling at Weylyn.

"Hey, how are you holding up?"

It's been a tough summer with the paperworks of the closing up coronation. It's not supposed to be kept until next year, but there are a lot of things that have to be written and agreed to. On top of that, there is the whole Belrynna-burning situation that hasn't helped our work at all.

"I've definitely felt better before, but I'm getting through. Didn't imagine all of these things would happen this year... But we'll get through it." He sighs in defeat, looking tired as ever.

"But enough talk about work and sad things. I came to ask you something. If you're free at the moment?" The small sparkle he has in his eyes returns. His foolish demeanor is as high as ever.

"Yeah I'm free. I just got done with the last bit of my things. What's up?" I push myself away from my table, turning completely towards Weylyn.

I can see the small notes in my side view. I'm still trying to figure out who it is.

There is one person I haven't asked yet though... And he's right in front of me at the exact moment.

"So, since all of us have pretty much got everything done, we should go and take a night out. Celebrate and mourn the ones we've lost. We had few people from our kingdom in Belrynna that sadly got caught in the fire. What do you say?" Weylyn's blond head is tilted a little, his hair a little outgrown from the length he usually keeps it in.

"It sounds great to me. I think it would be nice to get one night free and just... be in the moment without having to think about the world around us. So I'm in." I smile at him, the sparkle shining in his sky-blue eyes.

"Great! Ask Kace with you if you want to, I'll ask a few other guards to come with." He's about to leave the room when I call his name again.

"You do know how Kace feels about you, right?" I ask sheepishly.

He lets out a small chuckle.

"Yes I know, but he would dislike me even more if I didn't ask him to come with us when you've already been invited. At least he'd have a choice to join or not."

"I understand. I'll ask him if he wants to come with. When and where will we meet up?"

Kace has never been too fond of Weylyn. There is nothing wrong with him, according to Kace, but he is just annoying and not the exact type of a king he thinks we might need. I don't know if I agree or not. Of course, Weylyn is very nice, and clumsy at times, but he can also do his job correctly without doubting the decisions he has to make.
