Acacia Mcknight
I thought being married feels very distinctive and amorous, it makes you drown in the lovely feeling of being loved and loving someone. It's intimate and maybe like an intense hit of joy but what was I thinking? This is a marriage of convenience and it's not like Damien is my lover who has turned his back on me.
I had changed earlier into the most expensive dress I have ever seen, my reception dress was probably just as costly as my wedding dress and I couldn't thank Damien enough for it. It's just gorgeous and I must say, he's a fashion diva!
I heard a knock on my door and I quickly put aside my makeup things and walked outside to see Damien fixing his cuff links, waiting.
"Are you ready?" He asked, his sight moving from my face down to my body before he looked away.
Was I looking weird?
No babes, you have reasons, love yourself, come on!
"Ah.. Yes, yes I am" I smiled lightly as Damien wrapped an arm around me, and trust me, I'm still not used to his touch, I doubt I'll ever be. Especially with him looking so breathtaking, he easily snatches my breath away. Unfortunately, it's only because he needs to make sure no one is suspicious of us.Once we reached the reception menu, I was mind blown, to say the least. It was beautiful, the dainty, soft scent of flowers invaded my senses bringing a smile to my face. It was pink, just like my imagination. I had always wanted a wedding like this and turns out, Damien knew of my plans. I'll seriously miss him after the divorce.
