Y/N POV
Tuesday was pretty boring once Rose and Scar left. Lizzie and I continued to get things ready for the wedding next Saturday and lounge around together. During lunch though Lizzie starts to sneeze. Neither of us think anything of it at first until she's coughing an hour later while we cuddle on the couch. I notice her red nose and hand her a box of tissues when I hear how congested she's gotten.

"You feel okay?" I ask as I push some hair out of her face. She smushes her face into my chest and mumbles something from her position on top of me. "I have no clue what you just said cuddle bug." I tell her and she huffs as she raises her head. I pout at the puffy eyes and pitiful look on her face.

"I think I'm getting sick." She grumbles, her voice hoarse.

"I think you might be right. You never get sick." I comment as I continue to observe her grumpy face.

"Never, this is weird. It just came out of nowhere and I hate it." She pouts and I lean forward to kiss her clammy forehead.

"I'll go make some soup." I decide but Lizzie decides to cuddle back into me instead. "I can't get up to make you soup if you're on top of me, baby." I remind her.

"I just want to cuddle." She declines and I sigh.

"Okay, my love. Can you tell me what is bothering you?" I try and she sighs.

"My nose is stuffy, my eyes are itchy, and my throat hurts." She shares.

"Maybe it's just a cold, you're going to be okay." I assure her as I comb my fingers through her hair. I take note of the heat radiating off her but don't comment on it since she wants to cuddle so bad. She passes out pretty soon after and I carefully roll her off my body to get up. She snuggles into the couch and Smush settles into her side and licks her hand once before also falling asleep. I head into the kitchen to make some homemade soup once I get the recipe from my mom. She always made the best soup when I was sick.

I order some decongestant, an electrolyte drink, and cough drops from instacart so I don't have to leave her. It comes right when I'm finished the soup so I buzz the person in and thank them before turning the stove to low heat so it can be ready for when she wakes up. I walk back into the living room with some water and the other stuff I got and set it down on the coffee table. I sit back down next to her and slowly lay down. She hums and curls into my body. I keep my eyes on her face as she continues to snooze and push back the hair that sticks to her sweaty forehead. At least she's sleeping through the fever.

I look at Smush who starts to whine from his new spot on the top of the couch and I pout at the pup. "It's okay buddy, Mommy is just a little sick." I offer and he continues to whine. He slowly returns to cuddle up to Lizzie on my stomach and licks at her chin since her head is laid on my chest. She sighs and shifts a little in her sleep and I pet Smush so he doesn't wake her up. She continues to sleep for another hour or so before she grumbles and her eyes flutter open.

"Hey, Angel." I greet softly and she grumbles before turning her face to smush it into my chest further.

"No." She mumbles and I smile.

"I made some soup. Would you like some?" I ask, hoping she'll say yes.

"Not hungry." She replies and sighs as she shifts to lay her cheek on the top of my stomach. Smush kisses her face and she let's him as she tries to go back to bed.

"It will make you feel better. My mom's recipe." I try again and she huffs.

"Only a little bit." She concedes and shifts to stuff her face into the back of the couch, letting me get up. I turn up the heat a little to make sure its warm enough before I scoop some into a bowl for the pouty mess in the living room. "I don't like this." She grumbles and I peek up to find her tossing and turning on the couch with an uncomfortable look on her face.
