Wanda's POV

For this past week with Keagan has been fun. I haven't even smiled in the past month till she came along. Her jokes were funny, well some of them were and some were just so stupid that we'd just laugh anyways.

Even though she's a guest she wasn't allowing me to cook for her. She said it's for letting her stay but we came to an agreement that we'd take turns or help each other. And God her food is so delicious, especially her waffles uh.

I leave my room and head to the kitchen to get me a cup of water but I notice she isn't anywhere in the cabin. Weird. Maybe she's outside getting some fresh air. I continue to fix and drink my drink and then i head outside.

I walk around for a bit but still don't see her. "Alpha" I call out but nothing. I start getting worried. " Keagan where are you " still nothing. I walk by the stream towards the lake, that's when I see her.

" Geez alpha you had me worried when you didn't answer me " I say sitting down next to her. She looks at me with a soft smile before saying " sorry witchy I was just thinking".

To be honest I always wonder what goes on in her head but since I can't get in there I will never know. " What are you thinking about" I say. She just sighs "everything". This make me confused until she elaborates.

" Spending time with you have been by far the best thing that happened since my mom died" she starts off. She's still obviously saddened by her mom's death I mean who wouldn't be it's your mother's.

" She was the only person who ever really made me smile. Most people know the cold hearted Black Widow but I got to see the side no one has ever seen. She was a wonderful mother and ever since she died I just started hating the world".

" But since being here with you I've been more happier and relaxed an all which is a first in a while". She stops talking for a while and takes a deep breath.

" But I have to go home" she says which make me a little sad which she most definitely noticed. " Look I know your sad but knowing Hayward he's probably gonna tell people that I'm dead. I still have some family left. My aunt Yelena lost a sister she doesn't need to think she lost her niece also".

" Plus I really want to put a bullet through that bastards head" she finishes off with a light scoff. Why am I even feeling this way about her I'm mean she has a point. I just look at her slowly nod my head while whispering okay knowing she heard me with her super hearing.

She stands up, pulling me with her. She raps her muscular arms around my waist and hugs me tight but not to tight. My arms go around her neck and I stuff my face into her neck.

We stay like this for a while before she says " Hey you know what how about I find the nearest town and try to find a phone and call someone to let them know that I'm alright and I can stay" she says.

I pull back from the hug and ask what. " You want me to stay don't you. All I gotta do is call the person I need to and explain everything, well everything but you of course and have them handle Hayward"

I'm just staring at her. She would really do all that just to stay with me. I mean we've only known each other for almost two weeks now but it's like we've known each other for years. With her doing this she'll be able to stay but also be able to let someone know what Hayward is doing.

I just smile even more and go back into the hug. I feel so safe in her arms. I know for a fact that if something was to happen she would protect me even though I don't need it.

Keagan's POV

The way she just melts in my arms is just immaculant. Over the time I have been here we've established a unique friendship that with normal people would happen to them in months or years of knowing each other.

We hug each other the way friends don't normally do. We cuddle while either watching tv, reading, or having a conversation with each other. My wolf which Wanda has named alpha allows her to cuddle with him.

Let's talk about the nicknames we have for each other. When Wanda started calling me and my wolf alpha it's like he lost control. Maybe alpha is like a daddy kink for him I don't know. I started calling her witchy because it just fits her like come on.

We pull away from the hug but we still lean against each other. She turns her head to look at me then asks me when am I gonna head to the nearest town. I tell her in the morning.

I can see she's getting cold and probably wants to go back to the cabin. I pull completely away from her and tell her to hop on my back so we can go back to the cabin. She complies and hops on. And we head back to the cabin.

Once we get there I make her some tea while she put on a fire in the fireplace. When the tea was ready I gave it to her, I picked up my Romeo And Juliet book she made for me and read it while we cuddle with each other.
