"Okay we have to celebrate! Let's go to Acacia's party tonight!" Alexa grinned at me."Okay as much as I'd love to celebrate not having a baby in me..." I laughed, "I should really study. I mean my grades have been so shit lately, with everything going on."
"Leah, come onnnn. I promise we can study tomorrow together but please let's just have fun tonight"
She looked so excited. I can't even say no to that face.
I rolled my eyes but smiled, "fineeee"
Alexa cheered "I'm so excited!"
Come to think of it, I was pretty excited too. I'd been tossing up whether to go to this party or not all week, but the stress of life had really gotten to me lately so a party would be perfect right now.
"Okay same, come to mine around 6 to get ready?" I asked and Alexa nodded, before we parted ways for our final period of the day on a Friday afternoon.
I can't wait for this to be over.

I rushed home, actually eager to get ready for this party.
"Hiiii" I said cheerily, as I entered Tyde and Kyle's apartment.
They were both seated on the couch watching Tv and both turned to me.
"Someone's got a spring in their step!" Kyle laughed.
"Yes I do Kyle, I'm going to a party tonight!" I told him excitedly.
"Hi," I said again as I walked up to Tyde and pecked him on the lips.
I walked over to his bedroom to put my bag away and Tyde got up and followed behind me. He still hadn't said a word.
"What party?" He asked, confused.
"A girl from school, you don't know her"
Tyde pouted. God he's cute. "But we always go to parties together"
"I know, I'm sorryyy. But I'll take an extra couple shots for you, how about that?" I grinned, raising my eyebrows.
He shook his head at me, smiling.
"Have fun, and be safe okay? I know you're joking but don't drink too much"
I stared at him, smiling in surprise. "Wow when did you become such a dad? The pregnancy scare really got to you," I joked.
He laughed "I just care about you," his voice had softened. It was almost as if he was embarrassed to even admit that.
I walked up close to him and wrapped my arms around his neck, kissing his lips slowly. He placed his hands on my waist as he kissed back. I pulled back after a few seconds, staring into his eyes.
"You're just one big softie, you know that," I teased. He really was though. Such a different Tyde to the one I'd first met so long ago.
He shook his head, but couldn't help but smile "I'm so not"
"You so are. I love it though"
"Oh you love it, do you?" He raised his eyebrows, cheekily.
I scoffed "yeah don't get too ahead of yourself" I shook his emphasis of the word "love" out of my head, but couldn't help my heart beat picking up in my chest. Could Tyde and I ever actually fall in love? I quickly shook the thought away, embarrassed for even thinking about that. So stupid Leah.
"Anyways, I gotta get ready," I pulled away from him and walked over to the wardrobe to pick something out.
Tyde sat on the edge of the bed, watching me as a I scanned through anything I could possibly wear.
