I woke up the next morning feeling tired. I hadn't slept well at all. I groaned and forced myself out of bed. If it weren't for school I would have stayed in bed for most of the day.
I got dressed and walked downstairs where I found Luke eating breakfast. In the light I could see that he had a bruise on his face and a cut on his lip.
"Luke?" I asked softly, scared that he was going to lash out at me. I couldn't believe we had fought last night. And then he had gone and gotten into a fight with someone. And I had a feeling I knew who it was.
He looked up at me for a few seconds before returning his gaze to his food.
I sighed and walked to the fridge, getting out what I wanted to eat.
I sat next to him. "So are you gonna tell me where you went last night?"
He didn't even look at me when he replied, "No."
"Luke. I was so worried about you and you didn't come back until like midnight. Are you okay?"
He didn't reply. "Luke. Tell me where you were," I demanded, beginning to get frustrated.
I thought of Tyde. Did he hurt him?
"I went for a walk," he replied shortly.
"Bullshit! A walk doesn't take 3 hours!"
"I gotta go," he said before getting up.
I walked in front of him, stopping him.
"Luke look I'm sorry about fighting with you yesterday but just tell me the truth. Where were you last night?"
"I forgive you," he said coldly before walking out of the door and it was obvious he didn't mean it.
What the hell?
I was so sick and tired of Luke lately, he was really pissing me off. I sighed and walked back upstairs.
I continued getting ready for school and once I was done I walked out of the house, locking the door behind me.
The whole walk to school I kept wondering if Luke had fought Tyde. I hoped not. I shook my head. I don't even like Tyde.
I walked into school and found Natasha waiting at my locker on her phone. She looked up and put her phone away, smiling at me.
"Hey!" She was cheerful as usual.
"Hi," I replied.
She frowned. "What's up. You look pissed off."
I smiled. She knew me too well.
I sighed. "Just Luke again."
She laughed. "You guys have been fighting a lot lately."
"I know. It's all because of Tyde."
At the mention of Tyde, Natasha grinned. "Have you talked to Tyde recently?"
I rolled my eyes. "No Natasha I haven't."
"You should!"
"Why would I talk to him? He's so annoying!" I said. "Oh and by the way you're meeting up with Ryder this afternoon."
"WHAT!" She turned to me, her eyes wide.
I smirked. "That's right. I texted him and he said he can meet you today."
"Oh my god! What am I gonna wear? What am I-"
"Relax Natasha!" I interrupted her and laughed. She was freaking out.
