Chapter 14

Luke's Pov

As I walked through uni I was thinking Leah better not leave the house today. She was so stubborn and she never listened to me.

I still couldn't believe she got suspended. My little sister got suspended for getting into a fight. And with Florence.

I walked into my next class 5 minutes early and no one was there. I placed my books down on the desk and sat down. A few seconds later someone else walked into the room. Tyde.

Since when did he come early?

"Sup dumbass," Tyde laughed.

"Piss off," I really wasn't in the mood to deal with his shit.

"Relax," he laughed.

"Since when do you come early to class?" I couldn't help but ask.

"Since I got bored. Why did you leave early yesterday anyway?" He asked.

"That's none of your business," I said and saw a few more figures enter the room.

"Then why don't we make it my business?" He said in a sarcastic tone.

"What?" I questioned although I knew what he meant.

"Did you go home to protect your sister?" He smirked.

I hated it when he talked about Leah.

"No. In fact she got suspended for getting into a fight and the principle needed to talk to someone so I had to leave."

Wait. Why did I just tell Tyde that? Why am I even explaining myself to him?

"So that's why I saw her this morning," he mumbled but I heard him.

"Wait what?" I asked.

"At least there is one member of your family that can actually get into a fight," he said and laughed.

"Ha-ha very funny. What do you mean you saw her?" I asked again.

"I went to Taco Bell this morning and saw her there," he shrugged.

"Okay class take a seat," the lecturer said as she walked in and I heard Tyde groan loudly.

Like I said she never listens to me. I had a feeling she wouldn't stay home.

Leah's Pov

"Ryder is so hot," Natasha bragged on the phone. It was about 3:00 so they would have just finished school.

"Yeah he's alright," I admitted as I sat in my boring room.

"Alright? Have you seen his muscles?"

"No, because I'm not obsessed" I joked.

It sucked that I couldn't go to school. I kind of missed Natasha.

"Whatever you know he's hot," she laughed and I joined in.

"Anyway how was school? Boring?" I asked.

"Yeah, especially without you. Oh my god I completely forgot to tell you, Florence was suspended," she said and I smiled.

"Good," I smirked.

I heard the front door open, and I knew it was Luke. I wondered if he would talk to me.

"I have to go, talk later," I said before hanging up. I walked downstairs and see Luke.

"Hey," I said not knowing if he would talk to me.

"Hi," he said coldly.

Wow. He actually replied.

"How was uni?" I tried to start a conversation.

"Good. How was Taco Bell?" He said and my stomach drops.

"W-what?"

"I know you went Leah."

"What? How?" I stuttered.

"Tyde told me" Luke said and I breathe heavily. Why? Why would he do that?

"It's really not a big deal," I tried to convince him.

"It is when you never listen to me."

"Ok! I'm sorry. I don't want to fight with you. I'm sorry I left ok? It won't happen again," I told him.

"Good," he mumbled.

"Sorry," I walked up to him and we had an awkward sister, brother hug but it was nice.

I couldn't believe Tyde.

I walked up to my room not wanting to fight with Luke and went on my phone. I come across the name 'Tyde' and I pressed it and put my phone to my ear.

Tydes Pov

"Do you think Natasha is hot?" Ryder asked me out of nowhere as we walked out of uni.

"Dude, what the fuck? You are like obsessed with this chick!" I said to him.

"No I'm not! Just want to know your opinion" he said,

"I don't know. I haven't really looked at her," I said truthfully.

"Bro, you were siting across from her the other day at Starbucks," he reminded me.

"That doesn't mean I looked at her," I said and he rolled his eyes.

I stopped walking when I heard my phone buzz in my pocket.

"Hello?" I said without even looking at the caller ID.

"Why the hell did you tell Luke I was out?"

It's Leah.

She was whisper yelling. I was guessing so Luke wouldn't hear her.

"What?" I questioned.

"You told Luke I was out."

"Yeah and?" I asked.

"You are unbelievable," She groaned.

"I heard you got suspended," I laughed.

"Oh my god! Luke told you? What are you best friends now?"

"No I still hate him," I smirked.

"Good to know," she huffed.

I was actually having fun talking to her until I remembered that I was supposed to be keeping my distance from her.

"Um, uh I got to go," I said quickly.

"Oh, uh ok. Bye," she said sounding surprised.

"Bye," I mumbled and hung up.

I'm such an idiot.
