It was beginning to get dark as I walked down the street, coming back from Starbucks. I was eager to get home as it had been a long day.
I strolled along like I usually do, kicking stones beneath my feet all alone in the deserted street. I heard footsteps behind me and felt my heart beat faster.
Scared to turn around, I picked up my pace, basically running around the corner. I heard his loud footsteps right behind me and I walked into what looked like a long ally way. Nice choice Leah.
I continued to run until I felt his hand grip my shoulder, forcefully turning me around with an eager grin on his face.
"Let me go!" I screamed, wanting to just hide from this monster.
"No, I can't." the smirk on his face was unbearable as he pulled a knife out of his back pocket.
"No Tyde don't!"
My eyes shot open and I frantically sat up, breathing heavily. Drips of sweat rolled down my face. My heart was beating at an unhealthy pace.
What just happened? Why was Tyde in my dream and why was I so afraid of him? Was this a sign?
I knew Luke warned me about Tyde but I thought he was just being the normal worrying, over protective person he is. But having this dream, made me even more afraid to ever encounter Tyde Grayson again.
Struggling to get to the bathroom I cleaned my teeth and rushed down stairs to an empty living room. I grabbed a bite of Raisin toast and walked out the door, kicking myself for not even having a shower.
Wow this was gonna be a great day.~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
I walked into school and made my way to my locker, taking out the books I needed for my first class. I felt someone lightly touch my shoulder. I shivered, remembering the dream I had. I turned around to see Florence's emotionless yet embarrassed expression as she embraced me into a hug.
"Hey Leah, I..." I could tell she was struggling, thinking of what to say.
"Don't worry about it. I'm sorry for what happened... You know at the party." My face heated up at the memory of Tyde and her doing it.
Why was I even worrying... I'm afraid of this guy I shouldn't care less.
"All good hun, this probably won't be the last time you'll walk in on me with someone." she smirked. I looked at her confused.
"Anyways you enjoyed the party right?"
I looked at her emotionless. Is she really that stupid? I wanted to hit her for leaving me at the party. And I wanted to slap her for the way she was acting so cool after the event that happened.
"Well anyways Leah, I guess I'll be seeing you soon." She winked and then turned on her heel and headed of to class.
That was awkward...

The school day was finally over and all I wanted to do was go home, stuff my face with food, watch the latest episode of Modern family and snuggle up on the couch with a book.
Walking quietly towards the school gates I went past Aiden who waved with a massive grin on his face. Returning the gesture, I walked over to him as he pulled me into a hug.
"Hey Leah, how are you?" He smiled and I blushed, feeling so happy to finally see him.
Aiden was a great friend of mine. We had been friends for as long as I could remember. But... I kinda had a crush on him. He didn't know how I felt about him and I hoped he never would because I know he wouldn't feel the same way.
I always had to act normal around Aiden but whenever I was with him I felt butterflies erupting in my stomach. The only person that new that I liked him was Natasha and I wasn't planning on anyone else knowing.
"I'm good. I didn't see you at all today." I smiled, nudging my shoulder into his.
"Yeah well we're not in any of the same classes this year and at lunch i had soccer practise. Anyway, sorry I gotta go. I mean I would love to chat but I have to help my cousin move into his new apartment. I'll talk to you later, yeah?"
"Yeah sure" I smiled as he embraced me in another hug.
"See you later." he waved as I walked in the opposite direction.
Aiden was such a great guy. He was perfect for me. He was nothing like Tyde. I shook my head, why did he keep popping into my mind?
As I walked down the street only having to walk about two blocks to get to my house, my phone vibrated in my pocket.
"Did you miss me today?" it read from Tyde. I felt a lump build in my throat. I literally could not escape from him. I put my phone back in my pocket and continued walking. I felt it vibrate in my pocket again.
"Come on answer."
Seriously? Why couldn't he just leave me alone?
"Yes hello Tyde." I sent, immediately regretting the action.
As I walked through the door with my phone in my hand Luke greeted me with a smile that within seconds turned into a worried look.
"Hey, um who you texting?"
"No one," I lied, knowing he could see right through it. But I definitely wouldn't tell him that i was texting Tyde. I hurried up the stairs, placing my phone on the dressing table. Hopping into the bathroom I stripped down and got into the shower, trying to get Tyde off my mind.
LUKES POV
I walked up the stairs a couple of minutes later to see what Leah was up to. She acted so weird when she came inside. I hoped that she was alright.
When I knocked on her door there was no answer. I opened it slightly and peeked my head in to see if she was there. But she wasn't. Where was she?
I then heard the sound of water and I immediately relaxed knowing she was in the shower.
As I was just about to exit I saw her phone in the corner of my eye.
I walked over slowly, and grabbed her phone.
I shouldn't... Should I? It wasn't like I was doing anything wrong if I checked who she was talking to, I was only being a good brother.
As I pressed the top button on her phone and swiped the screen, I noticed she didn't have a passcode. I clicked on her messages.
"Did you miss me?" the message from Tyde read. Why the fuck was she talking to Tyde? I told her not to talk to him. How did he even get her number? Tyde was dangerous, I couldn't let Leah get hurt. Tyde was a dangerous person with dangerous intentions.
As I continued to scroll through the messages I heard the sound of water stop and heard Leah unlock the door.
I quickly placed the phone back in the same position I found it and ran as quietly as I could down the stairs, plopping myself on the lounge and flipping through the TV guide.
"Hey Luke." she smiled as she sat down next to me.
"What's up?" she looks confused as she continued to stare into my eyes with worry.
"Nothing," I replied, simply not letting her see through my lie like I did through hers. She shrugged and walked off into the kitchen.
I was angry that she ignored my instructions. And I was fuming that Tyde was trying to hit on her. I would not let my sister get hurt by him. Only God knows what Tyde was going to do next.
