Natasha's pov:
I sighed, staring at the black screen of my phone. I hated being bored. I always needed to be doing something or I would go out of my mind.
I tried texting Florence but she didn't reply. So I tried texting Ryder but of course he didn't reply either. Where was everyone? My finger hovered over Leah's name and I wondered if I should just call her and apologise.
I didn't mean what I said to her, I was just angry. But the truth was I hated Alexa and seeing Leah with Alexa all the time made me so mad. I felt guilty for what I said but at the same time Leah was at fault too. I hated the fact that ever since Alexa came to the school Leah and I had been distant and I was excluded from everything. It was like she didn't even care about me anymore.
I put my phone down on the couch next to me and grabbed the remote. I looked for something to watch but when I found nothing except for Finding Nemo I sighed even louder and turned it off.
What was I meant to do?
I picked up my phone again and this time dialled Florence's number. Why wasn't she replying to my messages, she always did. I knew something wasn't right. Her phone went onto voicemail after a few rings and I left her a voicemail letting her know I was worried about her and to call me back.
I laid down on the couch and shut my eyes. Maybe I could sleep and that would take away the boredom. I only had my eyes closed for 3 seconds when the doorbell rung. I immediately opened my eyes and sat up. Who could it be?
I began walking to the door but then I looked down and realised I wasn't wearing any pants, only a long t-shirt which went up to mid thighs. I contemplated quickly changing but I had to open the door so I just shrugged and opened it.
My eyes widened as I saw my boyfriend standing there grinning at me with a bouquet of flowers in his hand.
"Ryder!" I squealed and wrapped my arms around his neck, hugging him.
"Hey Natasha," he said and pulled me in for a kiss after our hug.
"What are you doing here?" I asked, excited that I would get to spend some time with him.
"Oh um I was just at the shops and I couldn't stop thinking about you and then I passed this shop that sold flowers and I knew you uh liked these so I bought them for you," he told me, his cheeks turning slightly pink as he handed me the flowers.
"Aww, that is so cute," I cooed which made him blush even more.
"I swear when we first started going out you mentioned how much you hate cheesy stuff but look at you now bringing me flowers," I teased with a smile.
He smiled and shook his head. "I know it's cheesy but you're my girlfriend, I have to at least do one cheesy thing every once in a while. Don't girls love stuff like that?"
"Yeah we do," I smiled as he scratched the back of his neck awkwardly. "You're actually so cute."
"Stop calling me cute, I am not cute. I am a man," he stated.
I rolled my eyes. "Just because you're a man doesn't mean you can't be cute."
"Yeah but I'm not cute."
"Yes you are."
"No I'm not"
"Yes you are Ryder. I can't believe you bought me flowers that's the cutest gesture ever," I said and smelt the flowers.
"I swear if you say anything about me being cute one more time I'll leave," he threatened.
"Okay okay I'll stop saying you're cute... For now," I said with a cheeky smile.
