Luke was being unusually happy lately and I was loving it.

Considering that we fought more than an old married couple, when we went and got pizza last night it really cheered me up from Natasha and I's fight.

As usual he teased me about my boring choice of pizza topping. Cheese. What could I say? Cheese had been my favourite pizza topping since I was little and I didn't think that was going to change.

After Luke and I got pizza last night, Aiden and I talked on the phone for hours. I told him about Natasha as any depressed girlfriend would whine to their boyfriend.

But he was very comforting. Another thing I loved about him.

My phone ringing pulled me out of my thoughts, and I realised I had been staring at my computer screen just day dreaming.

I grabbed my phone from beside me and it's an unknown number. I put my phone back down because I didn't usually answer unknown numbers.
But after my phone cut off and silence filled the air, it started to ring again. Ugh.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Hey Leah," the voice said and I couldn't recognise it.

"I'm sorry...I don't know who this is?" I said, as more of a question.

"Kyle," was all the voice had to say for it to click.

"Oh hey Kyle. How are you?"

"Yeah good. And yourself?" He asked.

"Yeah pretty good," he said but there was something off about his voice, that's why I couldn't pick up that it was him on the phone. He sounded upset, not like his usual happy self.

There was silence for a little while before I picked up.

"So why did you call? Wait how did you get my number?" I asked, confused.

"Tyde," he simply said and I tried to ignore the way my heart started beating faster at the sound of his name.

I rolled my eyes "of course"

"Speaking of which, Tyde hasn't been the best lately and he hasn't been himself," Kyle informed me.

"So? Why would you tell me?" I asked, knowing it was rude but not really caring.

Out of all people. Really Kyle?

"Well I thought you would be nice enough to care," he replied with irritation clear in his voice. It was surprising to hear Kyle speaking this way, he had never acted like this before.

"But this situation doesn't affect me Kyle. And last time I saw Tyde I found out he got another girl pregnant," I said frustrated.

"Well last time I saw you, you stormed out of our apartment and slammed the door," he said rudely.

I sat there in utter shock. Why was he being so rude? I never thought I would live to see the day to hear or see Kyle being rude. He was the happiest, nicest and funniest guy I knew, this was a very different side to him.

I didn't have anything to say to what he said, as I sat there in shock.

"I mean really? To this day it is still a mystery to me why you did that. Like you said before this situation doesn't affect you so you should have comforted Tyde but instead you stormed out for no reason." He continued rudely, defending his best friend.

I sat there still in shock, remembering the event of when Tyde found out he got Florence pregnant. I did indeed storm out because I was upset as only a couple of days before did I realise that I liked him.

I didn't have anything to say to Kyle.
All I could think to do in that moment was to hang up on him.

Now I was confused, shocked and embarrassed. What has happened?

*****Kyle's Pov*****

All I heard was a beep coming through the other end of the call, indicating that Leah had hung up on me.

Okay maybe I was a little harsh on her, but what I said was true. I mean why did she even care so much and why did she storm out when she found about Tyde?

Tyde just hadn't been himself lately, and it actually scared me because I have known him for so long and he has never acted like this.

It bothered me because he never liked to talk about his problems. He just bottled them up inside and never talked about them, so I had no idea what he was thinking.

Not that I would be very good at comforting him if he did tell me what he was thinking but it still wasn't healthy to keep them bottled up inside like he does.

"Who were you taking to?" Tyde asked as he walked into the room.

"No one in particular," I shrugged my shoulders.

"You seemed pretty angry. Who was it?" he asked.

"Leah" I shrugged again, deciding to just be honest.

His eyes widened. "Why would you call her?" He raised his voice.

"Don't worry," I got up and started walking to my room, trying to avoid an argument.

"No Kyle I'm being serious, why would you? What did you say? What did she say?" He asked.

"I just told her how you were going, thinking she would care but she didn't. That's pretty much it, nothing really happened," I huffed.

"Why would you tell her about me? What the fuck?"

"It seemed like a good idea at the time. Now I'm kinda starting to regret it, seeing how mad you are," I laughed, trying to lighten up the situation.

"Seriously what is wrong with you? It's none of her business and neither is it yours," he told me.

"It is mine if I'm living with you. And I'm also your best friend if you haven't forgotten," I reminded him.

"I'm fine. I can handle this myself, I don't need you or Leah or anyone helping me!" Tyde said as he walked off.

But that was the thing. He wasn't fine and he couldn't handle this by himself, he had actually hit rock bottom.
