Leah's POV

My palms were already beginning to get sweaty as I sat next to Aiden on the couch.

"So what movie do you wanna watch?" He asked me. His house was big and surprisingly clean. I was grateful that his parents weren't home.

"Um I don't mind. Anything's ok just no scary movies."

"I would protect you if you got scared." He grinned at me.

My cheeks turned bright pink. He was so damn cute.

"No, no scary movies!" I absolutely hated scary movies.

He chuckled, "Okay."

We settled for a comedy movie that I had never seen before.

Aiden put the movie in and sat so close to me that our shoulders were touching. I breathed in trying to calm my nerves.

The movie started but I wasn't focused on it. I was thinking about how close Aiden and I were sitting and that if I turned my head we would be close enough to kiss.

I tried to focus on the movie but I just couldn't. I wondered if Aiden could hear how loud my heart was beating.

"I'm gonna go get popcorn," Aiden got up and walked to the kitchen.

I took out my phone and saw that I had 8 missed calls, all from Luke. I decided to ignore him. I still wasn't over how he looked through my messages. He invaded my privacy.

I remembered that I had to text Ryder for Natasha so they could meet. I smiled at the though of Ryder and Natasha meeting.

Hey Ryder. I was wondering if you were up for meeting Natasha?

He replied immediately.

YES

I smiled. I remembered him asking me who she was in Starbucks the day he had given me back my phone. I couldn't wait for them to officially meet.

Haha is tomorrow at Starbucks after school okay?

Again, he replied straight away.

Sure! Can't wait ;)

Just as Ryder texted me back Aiden appeared with a big bowl of popcorn in his hands.

"Who are you texting?" He asked me.

"Oh just my brother," I lied.

He nodded and sat back down. I put my phone back in my pocket.

Aiden put the popcorn in between us and started eating some. I focused on the movie and even laughed at some parts.

I absentmindedly ate popcorn throughout the movie. When the movie was almost over I reached into the bowl to grab some popcorn. Aiden reached in at the exact same time and our fingers brushed.

I blushed and looked at him. He grinned at me. The movie finally finished and Aiden turned it off.

"So, do you wanna come up to my room?"

I felt the nerves enter my stomach again.

"Sure," I said and we both got up. We walked up stairs and he opened a door. I walked in and was surprised at how messy his bedroom was.
