Leah's POV
I woke up the next morning feeling tired. I got ready and walked downstairs to have breakfast. Luke was already sitting and eating.
"Hey Luke." I took a seat next to him.
"Hey..." He trailed off. I frowned at him.
"What's wrong?"
"Um can I talk to you about something?"
"Sure." What was he going to tell me?
"Well um yesterday I kinda..."
"You what Luke?" I was getting impatient.
"Okay promise you won't get mad but yesterday when you were in the shower I looked through your messages and saw that you were talking to Tyde and-"
"What? You looked through my messages?!"
"Yeah I just wanted to know who you were texting."
"That still doesn't give you the right to look through my phone!" I stood up.
"Leah..."
"No Luke I'm going to school now."
"I'm sorry Leah wait I..." I didn't get to hear the rest of his sentence as I walked out of the house, my bag slung over my shoulder. I began walking to school.
I couldn't believe Luke had looked through my messages! That was so unlike him.
I groaned as I realised I hadn't even had breakfast.
I wondered about Tyde as I walked. What was he doing right now?
I shook my head. I shouldn't be thinking of him.
I arrived at school and walked to my locker where I found Natasha waiting for me.
"Hey Nat"
"Hi Leah!" She was always so happy.
I opened my locker and dumped my bag into it. I got all the books I needed ready. "You look angry. What's up?"
"Nothing. Luke just told me he was looking through my messages and you know how I am about people looking through my phone."
"Oh. Why did he?"
I sighed. "He's just so protective of me it gets annoying!"
"Aw he's just looking out for you Leah."
"I know I just wish he would realise that I can look after myself." She nodded.
"Um anyway you know that Ryder guy?"
I turned to her. "What about him?"
"Do you think maybe you could um like... I don't know introduce us or something?" Her cheeks were slightly pink.
I grinned. "Sure."
I loved playing matchmaker.
"Ill text him tonight and see when he's free to meet up."
"Ok thanks Leah!"
I smiled and shut my locker. I turned off my phone and put it in my pocket.
"Hey Leah!" I looked up to see Aiden waving at me as he passed us. I blushed and waved back.
As Aiden disappeared around the corner Natasha squealed. "Aw he so likes you!"
"No he doesn't! How many times do I have to tell you."
"I'm serious Leah! It's so obvious he likes you!"
For some reason Tyde popped into my mind at that moment. I thought of his voice and his piercings and tattoos. He was so different to other guys I had met and for some reason I couldn't get him out of my mind.
