Chapter 48

Leah's Pov:

As I continued to drive Alexa home from the cafe all I could really think about is how I was going to hide this damn hickey from Luke.

"Earth to Leah" Alexa's voice bought me back to reality.

"S-sorry what?"

"Do you think Tyler will be at the party tonight?"

"I-I don't know. Wait what party?" I asked.

"The one by the hills. Everyone is going. Please tell me you'll come," Alexa practically begged.

"Sure. I'll be there, Is it okay if Aiden comes too?"

"Yeah why not? Maybe he'll bring Tyler too" Alexa smiled.

"I knew you had a thing for him" I laughed.

"What can I say? He has dark eyes with thick eyes brows, I can't say no to that" Alexa said as we both laughed in unison.

"But I don't even have anything to wear tonight," I pouted.

"Um yes you do. Remember that hot red dress that you bought last week when we went shopping? Wear it." She told me and for some reason I felt like she wouldn't take no for an answer.

We talked some more but it came to an end when we reached Alexa's house.

"See you tonight. Message me when you get there," I told her as she got out of my car.

"Sure. And you might want to take care of that," she smiled widely as she pointed at my purple spotted neck.

I rolled my eyes as she shut the car door.

As I was walking up to the front door of my house, I made sure my long blonde hair covered my neck, holding it there in place. I also quickly texted Aiden telling him about the party tonight and asking if he wanted to go. But as I opened that front door, all of those worries dissolved away.

I turned to my left as I saw figures standing there, once I turned I instantly wished I hadn't.

"What the..." I couldn't even finish my sentence because I didn't know what to say.

Luke and Florence ?

Florence and Luke ?

Luke and Florence were standing in my living room talking in what looked like a very serious conversation.

"What's going on? And what are you doing here?" I pointed to Florence as I asked two questions at once, not leaving them any time to respond.

Florence and Luke both look at each other and my anger heightened. What the hell?

"Does someone want to answer me?" I almost yelled, trying not to raise my voice.

"Maybe you should go," Luke spoke softly, encouraging Florence to leave.

"No don't act like I'm not standing here. Answer me! What's going on?" I was now yelling.

Even the sight of Florence makes me angry, let alone her being next to my brother.

Florence glanced at Luke once more before taking a step forward and saying "Leah. You know I'm pregnant right?" She asked as she rubbed the top of her big belly.

I gave her a confused look. Yes, of course I know. Who doesn't?

Then my eyes traveled to Luke but the second they did, he tore his eyes away from mine and stared at the ground. This is the moment that it hit me.

"You...no...I...it can't" I stuttered, not being able to form a solid sentence.

"Please tell me this isn't true" I begged them.
