The next morning I woke up feeling tired. I groaned into my pillow at the thought of school.

For the first time in weeks I actually felt good. Yesterday I forgave Tyde. What he did was wrong but it was partly my fault so I did the right thing and forgave him.

I looked over at my clock on the wall and saw that it was 8:46.

"Shit!" I yanked the blankets off me, hurrying to get ready for school.

School started at 9:00, which meant I only had 14 minutes to get ready.

I quickly brushed my teeth and got dressed. I lazily put my hair into a messy pony tail and checked the time, it was 8:56.

I had four minutes to get to school.

I ran down stairs and grabbed myself an apple. Luke noticed my rush down the stairs and stood up from the couch.

"Morning?" He said as more of a question.

"Sorry Luke but I've got to run," I said before running out of the house.

I quickly got into my car and started driving. My homeroom teacher hated when I was late, I swear that was the reason she hated me.

When I made it to school it was 9:06, meaning I was only six minutes late but once that bell rang my teacher wanted everyone in the classroom.

I quickly ran to homeroom and pushed the door open. When I did I was panting from my run and the whole homeroom was staring at me. Natasha looked like she was about to piss herself laughing.

"Miss Adams," my teacher said with a sigh.

"Sorry," I said to her and walked to my desk.

"Hey," Natasha said to me as I sat across from her.

"Hey."

"How come you're late?" She asked.

"Well I must have slept through my alarm and Luke decided to not wake me, so I kind of just slept in," I told her

"Oh. Well did you study for the history exam second period? I studied really hard so I hope I do good," she said and my eyes widened.

"What? No. Oh my God I completely forgot about that!" I put my head in my hands and let out a groan of frustration.

How did I forget?

I blame it on Tyde.

I spent the rest of homeroom trying to study but everyone was being so noisy I couldn't concentrate.

When period two came around, there was some stuff in the test I already new but other stuff I didn't have a clue. By my guess, I would say I failed. A couple of months ago if I hadn't studied for a test I would be freaking out but at the moment I couldn't care less.

After school I drove home and was starving because I didn't have time to pack lunch this morning and forgot to take money, so I ate straight away.

All I did in the afternoon was watch episodes of New Girl that I've already seen before. I was so bored that I turned to my phone contacts and was about to call Natasha when I remembered that she had dancing. But my eyes came across a familiar name that always caught my eye 'Tyde.'

He was always fun to speak to so why not?

"Hello?" He picked up after a few rings

"H-hey"

"Hey Leah,"

"Why'd you call?" He asked before I could say anything.

"I was bored," I causally said and instantly regretted it.
