The week end had flown by and it was now Monday, my least favourite day of the week.

I walked into homeroom and waved at Alexa who was already seated in Natasha's spot.

I still had no idea why Natasha was being so cold to me the other day but I would find out today.

I took my seat next to Alexa and smiled at her. "So how are you liking the school?"

She smiled back. "Yeah it's alright. Thanks for showing me around the other day."

"No worries. You'll get used to the school before you know it."

"So tell me about everyone. Who should I look out for?"

I leaned towards alexa so no one would hear what I was saying.

"Well there's a girl called Florence. Watch out for her, cause she can be a real bitch."

"What did she do?" Alexa asked curiously.

"Basically Florence and I used to he really close friends but then she started acting weird and spread a rumour that I slept with this guy called Aiden but I definitely did not! She started acting like a bitch, we got into a fight and both got suspended. So yeah..." I quickly explained to alexa, trying to remember if I had left anything out.

"Woah," Alexa's eyes were wide with curiosity. "She started a rumour that you slept with someone?"

"Yeah."

"That's such a bitchy move," Alexa said and I agreed. "Wait who's Aiden?" She asked, remembering how I mentioned him.

"Oh he's my closest guy friend and well I... I used to like him. Actually I don't know if I still like him or not. My feelings for him are always changing. One minute I'm convinced I don't like him, the next minute I'm making out with him and my feelings are back. I just don't know..." I sighed.

"Well does he like you?" She asked.

"I don't know. I mean he's dropped some hints that he likes me but I can't be sure. Both the times we kissed, he was the one that leaned forward first."

"He obviously likes you!" Alexa exclaimed.

I shrugged. "If he really liked me he would have asked me out or told me by now."

"He's probably just shy!"

"I'm just so confused. I don't know if I like him or not-"

"Everyone be quiet!" The homeroom teacher shouted, interrupting our conversation and everyone went silent.

I then realised that Natasha still wasn't here. Why was she late again? I really needed to talk to her.

At that exact moment Natasha walked through the door puffing as if she had run a marathon.

"Natasha. Late once again. Take a seat," my homeroom teacher shook her head.

Natasha looked over at me and Alexa and glared at us. What the hell was wrong with her? She ended up sitting in the only free seat which was directly in front of me.

"Hey," I whispered. "Natasha," I whispered again, this time a little louder.

She turned around. "Why are you late again?" I asked.

"Why do you care?"

"Because I'm your best friend?"

"Doesn't seem like it these days," she stated, coldly.

"What the hell are you talking about?" I asked, starting to get frustrated. She was being so cold to me and not even telling me what I did wrong.

"Never mind," she said and turned around. What has gotten into her?
