"Anya, Galen! I did not know I'm not that important to be welcome by both of you as well just like her!"aniyang nakabakas ang magandang ngiti sa mga labi habang humahakbang palapit sa tatlo.
"Zac! You're here! Don't be jealous of us giving her a warm welcome! And of course you're my most important guess tonight, in my Hubby's birthday party! What's are cousin for?" Ang malawak na ngiting saad ni Anya ng malingunan sya nito. Agad itong napalapit at napakapit sa kanyang braso.
"Zac, nice to see you here too. Come inside! " Narinig nyang saad ni Galen sa kanya ng makita sya nitong nakatayo roon.
"Why don't we go inside now. Most of our guests are already inside." Suhestiyon nito matapos balingan ang biglang tahimik na si Armiya na napatango lamang rito. Nakangiti nitong inalalayan ang babae papasok ng bagay.
"Of course! Come, Zac. Let's go inside!" Untag sa kanya ni Anya sa nakasimangot na mukha!
Di pa rin makapaniwala si Zac na muli nyang nakikita ang babae sa gabing iyon at doon pa mismo sa kaarawan ng asawa ng pinsan nya ito makikita.
Akalain nya bang kilala at malapit pala ito sa birthday celebrant ng bagay na iyon!
Nakasunod ang kanyang mga mata sa bawat galaw ng babae simula ng pumasok isilang magpinsan. Umasim ang kanyang mukha ng makitang magkalapit ang dalawang nag-uusap ng sandaling iyon. Di ito iniiwanan ni Galen. Napaka-attentive pa nga nito sa babae simula ng pumasok ang dalawa.
"Zac! Its good that you're here! If not I don't think I can still hold myself not to cause a scene in my husband's party tonight!" Ang wika ng bagong lapit na pinsan sa kanyang tabi. Nawala ito sandali dahil may inasikaso sa catering staffs.
Napatingin sya rito kaya napilitan nyang inilayo ang mga tingin sa kanyang pinagmamasdan na babae ngunit nakita na iyon ni Anya.
"You're observing her!" Bulalas nito sa kanya.
"I am. She's quite pretty serious!" Komento nya rito.
"Do you know that woman your husband talking to?" Aniyang muling tiningnan ang direksyon ng dalawa.
"Hmmp! Of course! You already saw her outside the house when you came! And I know you saw her too!That's the close friend of my husband way back States. I know her obviously because my husband has a huge connection to that woman! " puno ng selos na wika nito sa kanya.
"Oh?" Nakataas kilay nyang saad rito.
"Yes! He only married me because he got me pregnant by then. If not he won't be my husband right now! And maybe that woman would be his wife now! He didn't hide the fact that he is in love with her though! And she knows it but just pretended she did not at the same time!" May disgusto sa tinig na wika ng babae sa kanya.
"Interesting!" Na saad nya sa sarili.
"Hmmp! Don't tell me you're interested in her too! She's a cold hearted woman,you know!" Maasim ang mukhang baling nito sa kanya.
"Hmmp! She's really too much! Every time she's around him he always forget my presence! Tonight is my husband birthday yet she ruined the ambiance of this party when she arrived! The nerve of this woman to show up here!"lukot ang mukhang napapapadyak sa inis di Anya.
" My dear cousin Anya. Try to calm down. Why are you still jealous with another woman?Isn't your his wife now? Why are you still so jealous of her?"napapailing nyang làpit nya rito.
" Zac! You don't know her! It's good that you're here! You can help me get rid of her! You don't know how toxic she is in my husband's presence! They're so close to each other! And my husband treats her well! She seems like she was his wife and not me!"reklamo nito sa kanya.
" How come you say that about her? She seems decent to me-"Ang mabilis na pinutol nito.
" You don't know her, Zac! She's a slut! She married an old man! Now she becomes rich after her husband died from a cancer!"patuloy nitong reklamo sa kanya na sya nyang ikinabigla sa nalaman.
"She's a rich widow?" Di makapaniwalang tanong nya rito. Lalong naging interesante ang kanyang nakalap na information rito.
"She is! And she wanted to seduce my husband too! Even though they told me they are only friends! That there is nothing going on between them! But I won't let her succeed ruining my marriage! She needs to kill me first before she can take him away from me!" Punom-puno ng selos na akusa nito sa babae.
"That's impossible Anya! I saw that she doesn't even look in your husband eyes like you do! How can you say they have relationship?"komento nito sa babae.
" What do you know! You're not with them every time! The sweetness between them is not appropriate to watch! They very close! So cloae to each other and I cannot help not to think sonething! They're not like just good friends. I think they have a secret relationship! That's right! My husband must have a relationship with her!"nag-uumapaw sa selos nitong sabi sa kanya.
" I always saw them getting cosy with each other also! So, tell me how can I not suspects something between them, Za"saad nito na bakas ang galit sa tinig ng magpatuloy ito sa pagsasalita.
" Alright, alright. Forget about her. It's your husband birthday tonight. So, you better full yourself together and wear a good smile on your face. I'll help you divert her attention away from your husband if your help me get closer to her."Aniya sa babae na nagpataas ng tingin nito sa kanya.
" Really? You will help me? But I don't want you to fall into her trap too. Selene is good for you. We want her to be part of our family. What if you fall in love with that witch!"anitong biglang umalsa Ang galit para sa babae.
" Don't worry. I won't. I know how to handle a woman like her kind! She cannot trap me easily. I'll let her fall in Love with me and leave her after! She will ended up being used!"kampanteng wika nito sa babae.
" Talaga pinsan?" Kumikislap ang mga matang saad nito sa kanya.
"Yes, I promised you that. After she will fall into my trap I will discard her like a used cloth!"Aniya sa babae na napangiti ng lihim.
Marami syang balak gawin sa babae. So,kaya pala ito nawala noon dahil nakabingwit ito ng malaking isda. Siguro Noong tinanggihan nya itong panagutan ang anak nitong pinapaako sa kanya hunanap ito ng matandang madali ng mamatay. Para makatakas sa kahihiyan at sa sitwasyong kinasuungan nito noon!
