The Gryffindor common room buzzed with fresh excitement. Every single student was chatting with one another about what Dumbledore had announced earlier in the Great Hall; the Triwizard Tournament.

That didn't seem so interesting to Adeline Fawley. The only thing that really caught her ear was that she was going to reunite with some of her old friends from Beauxbatons.

You see, Adeline was a princess of an island just off the UK. Muggles don't know of it, and it has been 'Muggle Proofed' by the Ministry of Magic using loads of Muggle repellent spells.

The island was founded by Adeline's great-great-great grandfather, Jeremiah Fawley.

Fawley was quite the name in the Wizarding World. It was one of the surnames on the Sacred 28, and was one of the largest Pureblood names in history.

So, either way, she was associated with riches and power.

Her family was also well known for their long line of being in Hufflepuff House. Her father had been a Hufflepuff, as well as Adeline's elder brother, Ben.

Her mother was a Slytherin at her time in Hogwarts.

This meant Adeline was one of the first Gryffindor family members in a long time, possibly ever.

Her cousin, Theodore Nott, was in Slytherin. She'd like to think they had a pretty civil relationship. He always said 'hi' to her in the corridors, and they had good, long conversations during family gatherings.

Her mother, Melody Fawley (née Nott) was Cassias Nott's (Theo's father) younger sister.

But once again, Theo only talked to her once and a while because of their house status's.

"What if Vikor Krum comes here? You know, for the Tournament?" asked Ron from the other couch.

Adeline looked up from her book. "And why would you care?"

"Because he's Krum's biggest fangirl." Ginny quipped.

Everyone in their small group snickered except Ron.

"I just don't get how you find him so interesting, Ronald. He's just a Quidditch Player." Hermione giggled.

The boys — excluding Neville — gasped dramatically. Ginny shook her head at her older friend. "Just a Quidditch Player. Oh, 'Mione. I've taught you wrong."

"I agree with Hermione," Adeline spoke up. "Yes, his tricks are interesting to watch, but Harry can do them, too. So, why are you freaking out over Krum?"

Hermione nodded, but Adeline soon regretted her decision about speaking up on the topic when everyone else caused an uproar.

It's not that Adeline didn't enjoy Quidditch. She loved watching it, it was truly enticing. She just didn't get how someone could obsess so madly over someone like Krum.

It confused her.

"He's brilliant-

"He can do the Wronski Feint-

"- the best Quidditch Player to ever exist!"

"- can't believe you would actually say that."

"- come on! He's Viktor Krum!"

Even with all the shouting about how incredible Viktor Krum was, Adeline still rested her case. Any grand Quidditch Player could do what Krum could.

Hermione and Adeline gave each other a panicked look, and they seemed to decide together that they caused too much of a scene.

The boys and Ginny looked beyond rattled, and it was Hermione and Adeline's fault.
