"Was she the one? The perfume from the other day?" Jennie didn't manage to ask the question on her mouth tip after seeing the stern look and aura Lisa gave. She decided not to be a busybody and enjoy her food.

EDEN ESTATES: MANOBAN VILLA HALL.

Lisa watched Jennie as she changed into her slippers and went to the hall and she spoke.

"Why are you not asking me anything? Your face seems to suggest that you have a lot of questions to ask me about that woman?

"Will you answer any of the questions I will ask you?" Jennie asked back and turned to look at Lisa.

"No, not now. I will tell you when I'm ready". Lisa replied.

"I thought as much. Then, don't ask me again. I don't talk about people I don't like". Jennie said and turned away. She went to her room leaving Lisa alone.

After making sure her room was locked, Jennie sat on her bed and thought about their encounter. Deep inside her, the moment she saw Irene, Jennie felt Irene and Lisa had something going on, something Lisa didn't want to admit and that made Jennie feel somewhat insecure.

Talking about feeling insecure, Jennie didn't know why she felt that way. She was getting too dependent on Lisa which made her helpless.

She had gotten very possessive of Lisa lately to the extent that even she didn't understand what kind of feelings she had towards her. Jennie removed her coat and laid on the bed with so many thoughts clouding her mind.

In all honesty, she was just a girl who didn't know anything about herself and didn't know anything about the woman she was living with. At the end of the day, they were strangers who would part ways when she regained her memories.

Jennie felt lost at times and helpless because she couldn't do anything to help herself. She felt she needed to find out who she was, the kind of life she lived, whether she had friends or not before the accident. She had to have had a family at least. People should be looking for her, right? Why did she feel like she was abandoned?

All night, Jennie tossed and turned in bed until sleep finally enveloped her.

At midnight, Lisa opened the door to Jennie's room with a spare key after noticing Jennie had locked it.
