Jane stood up angrily and said "I'm going to kill her. I'm going to kill that old hag!"
Lisa pulled her back on the sofa saying "Calm down kiddo. That is what we adults should say. Leave that to us"
"I will not let them get away from it. I have already placed my men to lay low and watch their movements and report to me!" Seulgi said.
"What about Leo and that plastic beauty? Lisa, can you at least let me handle that plastic beauty? I haven't even dealt with her for having her eyes set on you yet?" Jane said impatiently making the others chuckle.
"You have my permission to deal with her, I will clean after you. Let me handle Leo." Lisa told Jane.
"Okay, she is going to regret for messing with me." Jane stood up adding "I'm going to check on Irene. You guys can talk freely without me. I won't be the third wheel now." Jane smiled and went upstairs.
Dr. Jisoo looked at Lisa and spoke "She is doing much better than I thought."
"Better? She almost killed me for sending her to the hospital the last time." The three bestfriends suddenly became serious as they changed the topic.
"Say, what do you want to do to that old hag as Jane called her?" Seulgi asked.
"She will try to leave the country after the mess she created. Her main agenda is to destroy Irene and the company. If she can't have it then no one can. That's her plan" Lisa said.
"I will give my men the order. I will have her passports and valuable documents confiscated once she tries something." Seulgi added.
"I can't help with anything, I can only treat Irene." Dr. Jisoo said.
"You're doing more than enough. Before anything else, Irene is our priority." Lisa told Jisoo.
"What about your cousin? No matter how much I think about it I don't understand. Irene is his girlfriend. How could he do such a thing to her?" Seulgi asked.
"They broke up. Irene broke up with him some days back. But, before that I found out that he had being in touch with Irene's grandma for a long time. I didn't want to tell Irene because she was already anxious about the outcome of the shareholders meeting. It looks like they planned this from the beginning." Lisa told them.
Lisa found out yesterday after she sent Bambam to investigate the old lady but she didn't want to put any more pressure on Irene, hence didn't tell her. No one knew this would have happened anyway.
"Then, it could also mean that Leo meeting Irene was planned. Having her fall for him was also planned. Wow. The more revelations that come out of this case, the more messed-up the entire situation is. Irene was being played from the beginning!" Seulgi said.
"Yes, you're right. Leo is craftier than you can imagine. If this was his doing, finding evidence will be hard itself. He cleans after himself very well. I give him credit for that." Lisa told them.
"This is like a movie, Bud."
"You should go home and rest. I will call you when Irene wakes up."
"Okay"
MEANWHILE AT MANOBAN HOTEL: PENTHOUSE HALL.
Jieun sat quietly looking at her grandma. She could never have guessed even in her dreams just how far her grandma would be willing to go in order to achieve her goals. She even got someone to release sex videos of her own grandchild, what more could she be will to do.
Jieun hated Irene to the core but she could never do that to Irene. This was about Irene's privacy which was leaked to the world without her permission. She was also a woman and knew the kind of impact this could cause on the human mind.
Yet, her grandma went as far as to do that just because of a company? The more Jieun thought about it, the more scared she became of the old lady. who knew the kind of stuff she had gathered about herself waiting for her to mess up so she could use them against her.
Just thinking about them alone gave her the chills. Jieun thought she knew the old lady, but after what happened, she realised she didn't actually know nothing at all about the old lady.
Jieun suddenly felt discomfort and stood up taking her purse and the old lady spoke. "Go into hiding until things settle down."
"Huh? Hiding?" Jieun repeated after her not sure of what she really heard.
"Are you deaf? I said you should go into hiding for the time being until things have settled down. Go to Leo Manoban, he will take you someone safe."
"Grandma, can I ask you something?" Jieun asked with fear.
"You want to know if I am the one who released those videos?' The old lady asked as if reading Jieun's mind.
"What do you think, Jieun?"
"I don't know what to think, grandma." Jieun replied.
"Go to your room and pack. Leo will be here soon to send you somewhere safe."
"Yes, grandma." Jieun walked timidly out of the room.
Mandy Bae stared at the closed door coldly saying "This is just the beginning; the fall of the Manoban Family has just begun!" Her eyes became cold as she said those words.
Mandy Bae had waited so long for this moment. The moment she could start her revenge with the Manoban family. She was sure nothing could stop her at that moment.
