Jieun smiled smugly even as she was down and said "You can't do anything to me just because you have the backing of Lisa. I have Leo and my grandma too.
You saw what happened to Irene, right? You should be careful. I am not someone you can afford to offend."
"Ah, I see. What to do? I really feel like offending you. Someone promised to clean after me so I am allowed to do whatever I want with you." Jane pulled Jieun by the hair and threw her against the cardboard and Jieun screamed.
"Nobody will be able to hear you and nobody will be able to save you. You had the guts to try to steal what's mine right under my nose? Who gave you to right to even think you can have Lisa Manobam? Who gave you the right to mess with Irene?"
Jane tied Jieun up with a robe as she spoke. She sat on the bed watching Jieun as she struggled with the robes.
"Let me go, you psychopath." Jieun screamed.
"Let you go? I haven't even done anything yet and you want me to let you go? Oh, no sweetheart. It doesn't work that way."
Jane looked at her time and started counting '10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, and 0'.
The lights in the whole building went off suddenly making the whole place dark. Jane lifted Jieun up after stuffing a cloth in her mouth and went out. She used a few minutes to send Jieun out of the building before the lights turned back on.
Leo opened the door to the presidential suit and saw the bodies of the bodyguards and turned to the bodyguards with him saying "Shit. Block all exits. Find Jieun Bae right now!!" The bodyguards rushed out to search for Jieun.
Leo removed her phone and made a call "She is gone. I didn't find her."
PENTHOUSE HALL.
Mandy Bae sat down and spoke on the phone to Leo "Lisa Manoban might have taken her. You can leave for now. I will find a way to rescue Jieun." Mandy Bae hung up and laughed coldly.
EDEN ESTATES MANOBAN VILLA. NEXT DAY [MORNING]. JENNIE/NINI/JANE'S ROOM:
Jane stirred on the couch and opened her eyes. She saw an empty bed and stood up immediately and checked the room. She checked the bathroom and saw no one and ran out.
Jane ran down the stairs and saw Irene and Lisa having breakfast and she spoke "You are having breakfast? You scared me. I woke up and didn't see you?"
Irene looked at her saying "Worried that I will kill myself? My mental state is very strong, kid."
"Oh, I see. I wasn't worried at all. Is good your mind is stable, at least you can go back to your house and not intrude anymore." Jane said and sat on the next chair.
"Where did you go, last night?" Lisa asked.
"I was taking care of Irene. I didn't go anywhere." Jane said and picked a piece of meat.
Irene hit her hand saying "Did you wash your hands, kid?"
"Manoban Hotel had a moment of power shutdown last night, I was thinking if you had anything to do with it?" Lisa asked and Jane looked at her innocently and said.
"I don't know what you're talking about, Ma'am."
Irene and Lisa looked at her suspiciously. "Are you two suspecting me right now? I told you I don't know anything about it."
"Where are you keeping her? Jieun Bae?" Lisa asked again.
"Wow...we've known each other for so long and you still don't trust me?" Jane paused realising she had been caught and added "She is somewhere far away learning how to be a proper human being.
"What?" Irene looked at Jane unbelievably. "You really have a hand in that? Where did you send her?"
"Can you stop questioning me already? In any case, she is somewhere labour is needed. I didn't kill her or abused her. She is just somewhere for now." Jane said and went to wash her hands.
"Jane, be specific. Where did you send her? I need to know in order to make sure there are no traces." Jane washed her hands and returned to the table saying
"Someone I know works for the 'Save A Penny for the mentally disable hospital down south of D-City.' They are in need of workers and I decided to help them by providing an extra hand. She will work for the mad people for about a month or two before she is released." Jane spoke nonchalantly before eating.
Irene put her cutlery down and looked at Jane amazingly. Never could she have imagined Jane would do such a thing. Sending Jieun to that place is like taking away her life.
"She won't be sane by the time she comes out." Irene said.
"The better. Who told her to mess with my people."
"Eat, you're going to accompany Irene to her house today. She will pick a few stuff and come back." Lisa said.
"Are you going to keep staying here?" Jane asked.
"Yes, I want to sell my house and move into a new one. I will have to depend on you for a while, kid."
"Whatever, I'm hungry. The girl is skinny but quite heavy. I think I lost a pound carrying her down South last night."
A WEEK LATER: FASHION BAE
The reception of the company was unusually packed with reporters trying to get first information. Seulgi and Lisa managed to tone down the damage but what was done was done and couldn't be repaired. The stocks of Fashion Bae plummet and some of the workers even resigned.
It has been a week since the release of the video. A lot of companies and governmental organizations that had contracts with the company pulled out and some of the workers also left the company.
It was a total chaos. The damage this time was serious and Fashion Bae looked as if it was going to disappear anytime sooner
Irene took Lisa's advice and stayed at the villa away from public eyes.
Jane was in charge of making sure, Irene didn't have access to the internet as it was full of negative comments about her
Even though Irene acted strong, Dr. Jisoo advised Lisa to keep a close eye on her as she might do something to herself.
