Chapter 141

DR. SAM'S HOUSE:

Dr. Sam's house was a villa with a backyard garden and this was where the welcome party for Rosé was being held. The garden was decorated with ribbons and her name was hanged everywhere.

Inside Rosé's room, Jane sat flipping through their childhood pictures that Dr. Sam had kept hidden since the accident. He recently gave them to Rosé and she decided to show them to Jennie.

Irene was doing Rosé's hair. Her dress was part of Irene's summer collection that she planned on launching soon.

"Perfect, you look so feminine this way and beautiful" Irene said and turned to Jane saying "Rosé, you can go and sit down now. Let me attend to this naughty girl who wants to ruin this big sister's image. How could you not even apply a little makeup and even Lisa didn't say anything to you"

"Don't mention Lisa Manoban's name to me. I still hate her for what she did to me" Jane said and stood up, exchanging seats with Rosé. She sat on the dressing table.

"Rubbing salt on us singles wounds." Rosé murmured to herself.

"What did Lisa do?" Irene asked curiously.

"I'm not telling you" Jane said and Irene pouted.

Outside the garden:

Lisa,Seulgi and Jisoo stood at a table chatting. Lisa and Seulgi noticed Jisoo was constantly looking at the entrance.

"Who are you looking for? Don't tell me is Rosé?" Seulgi asked teasingly.

"None of your business." Jisoo said making them laugh.

Soon Jane and Irene walked out with Rosé in the middle as they entered the gathered. The invited guests clapped their hands and Dr. Sam proudly went forth to take Rosé's hand.

Irene and Jane left then to join Lisa and Seulgi.

Dr. Sam took Rosé's hand and introduced her to the invited guests one after another. Rosé who wasn't used to the crowd felt bored from having to have chat with the guests. She simply smiled not wanting to put her father in an awkward situation. He was doing his best to make her acquainted with the society and outside world so she had to also play her part.

In the middle of the introduction, she turned and locked eyes with Dr. Kim. Jisoo smirked at her and cocked her brows arrogantly at Rosé and she frowned.

They haven't seen each other for a week since the last time she left the villa. Rosé subconsciously checked Jisoo out. She wasn't in her doctor's coat and wore a formal black Lady Suit matching it with her expensive cartier jewellery. She looked gorgeous and neat.

"Rosé" Dr. Sam nudged at Rosé when he noticed she had paced out. Coming back to her senses, Rosé internally berated herself for even thinking about Jisoo in that manner.

"I must be crazy" she murmured to herself and turned to her father with a smile.

Everyone went back to their tables as the first song played out. It was time for the father and daughter pair to have their first welcoming dance. Rosé smiled as her father took her hand taking her to the middle of the grounds.
