Jieun walked into the hospital and went straight to the counter and asked the nurse a question "Please, is Jennie Ruby Jane Kim in this hospital?" The nurse looked at Jieun and answered "Let me check".
The head nurse in charge of Jennie walked into the counter at that moment and saw Jieun and asked "Miss, are you looking for someone please?"
Jieun looked at the nurse and turned back walking out. The nurse looked up after checking in her computer and saw Jieun walking away. The head nurse turned to the nurse and asked "What did she want?"
"Oh, she asked if we have a patient called Jennie Ruby Jane Kim in here. I didn't know so I wanted to check in the database". The nurse said.
"Do you give out patient's information to anyone who comes here asking for it? Do you know her? Do you know if she is the patient's family or enemy?" The nurse scratched her head speechless. "Next time don't do that again. We are responsible for our patients and whatever happens to them. Don't ever give out a patient's information to an outsider'". The head nurse scolded the junior nurse before going to her desk.
Jieun bought a bottle of water from the hospital's café and sat at a corner table. It took her 14 months before she was able to escape from that damned asylum Jane had sent her. At first, she tried and failed. After working there for months, she formed an alliance with one of the patient's family and was lucky enough to get in contact with Leo Manoban who finally saved her.
She got out and was staying at a rented apartment Leo bought for her. Leo had warned her to stay low-key and not appear before Jennie or Lisa. She had heard that Jennie got into an accident and was almost dead at a hospital, so Lisa wasn't in the best of moods and if Lisa saw her, Lisa would not let her go free.
Leo had warned her about staying low until they had prepared well enough to fight against Lisa, but Jieun was filled with a vindictive spirit and just couldn't stop herself from doing nothing. Hearing that Jennie was almost dead, she wanted to just finish her off.
After seeing Seulgi today at the hospital, Jieun was now sure that Jennie was in there and she was going to make her pay dearly for what she did to her. Jieun looked outside and saw a petite figure taking a car key from the valet and murmured "Irene? My cousin"
Jieun chuckled and looked at Irene as she got into her car. Jieun immediately rushed out of the café to tail Irene.
Irene was in a good mood after leaving the hospital. Seulgi promised to call her so she was elated. She drove away unaware of the car tailing her. Irene saw a wine shop ahead and thought of something "I should buy some wine and drink while I speak with Ms. Kang".
With that thought, Irene pulled over and got down and went into the wine shop. Jieun pulled over at a distance and also got down. She looked at the shop murmuring "A wine shop? I guess something good is going on in your life, cousin? But, what to do? I think I need to get rid of you before I got to Jennie". Jieun went into the shop to look for Irene.
Irene walked around looking at the various wines in the cello. She stopped at a particular wine looking at it "Dom Perignon; king of champagne? 2003?. Whoa." The manager of the shop walked to her saying.
"Miss, this is Dom Perignon. It is also known as the king of champagne. If you have something good happening, then this is the right wine for you to enjoy with someone special".
Irene smiled mimicking him "Someone special. Okay, is you then. I want this wine" she said thinking of Seulgi.
Irene removed her black card and gave to the manager and he smiled taking it to the counter. Jieun watched from the side with a sly smile. Looks like Irene had found someone special? Well, things were about to get interesting.
Irene suddenly felt chills and turned around seeing no one. She shook her head dismissing the strange feeling within her and took the wine box and put her card back into her purse and walked out. She got into the car and put the wine on the front seat and drove away.
Irene got to the estate and the gates opened and she drove into the estates. Jieun pulled over outside and got down from her car looking at the estates confused and murmured to herself.
"Eden Estates? This is where Lisa lives. Wait, did she get together with Lisa? Irene, that bitch went and seduced Lisa again? Now, I am really going to kill her mercilessly. Just wait, Irene. I am going to finish you tonight" Jieun got into her car and drove away.
Meanwhile, inside the estates. Irene pulled over and walked to the security room She met the guard outside and spoke to him "Hi, good evening"
"Hi, Miss Bae, do you need something?" the guard asked nervously.
"Not really, I just need to check the security footage for the one at the main gate. Please, can I do that?" Irene asked.
"Sure, but is everything alright" the guard asked as he led Irene into the room.
"Yes, I want to check something. I felt that someone was following me while I was on my way here. I want to check if the camera outside caught something" Irene said as she sat on a chair looking at the footage screen before her.
"In that case, I will rewind it for you".
"Thank you, sir"
Irene watched attentively as the guard replayed the footage from outside. Irene caught a glimpse of Jieun and immediately recognised her even though she turned her back to the camera. Irene's face turned pale. "please, can you send this into my phone?" Irene asked and gave her phone to him.
''Yes, I can, but are you alright? Is she someone you know?" the guard asked worriedly.
"Yes, thank you". Irene took the phone from the guard and went out dialling Seulgi's number dazedly. The line connected and she could hear voices in the background.
"Hello, Rene". Seulgi spoke on the phone and Irene snapped back to reality and spoke.
"Seul, I think I am in danger" Irene said as she walked towards her villa.
Seulgi was having a welcome party for one of her comrades when the call came in. when she heard irene's next words she stood up immediately and went out to speak to her.
"Irene, what did you say? You're in danger? What happened?" Seulgi asked as she went back into the room to pick her coat. Her phone buzzed and a message came in. Seulgi got out of the room and checked the message. She dialed Irene's number as soon as she finished and the call connected and she spoke "Go into the house. I will be there in 15 minutes, Irene". Seulgi hung up and ran out of the camp.
