Night was falling soon when Lisa, Seulgi, Jisoo and Irene managed to find the location of the tracker on Nini's phone. It took them to a deserted uncompleted building but when they arrived, Nini was long gone leaving the phone on a chair in the centre of the hall.
Lisa picked the phone and saw a voice recording on it. She played it to the hearing of everyone. Their faces turned shocked as they listened to the recording.
"Find me if you can, I think I'm going to have lots of fun tonight. I will be waiting to see just how smart all of you can be tonight. You have 4 hours to find me or you can pick up Jennie Kim's corpse later on.
When I was a kid, I liked playing hide and seek the most. The kids in my neighbour would search everywhere but no one will find me. You know why, because I was the smartest. I was there yet I wasn't there. Funny, isn't it? You want to know what's more interesting?"
Irene stumbled backwards and Seulgi held her as they continued to listen to the recording Nini left behind.
"There is something nobody knows about me. Even Jane doesn't know, Jennie is too silly to even think about such a reality. Ahahahahaha".
Nini's laughter filled the whole building echoing itself. Lisa's grip on the phone tightened as she listened to the rest of the recording.
"When we were 11 years old, we followed our mom to visit uncle Lorca at their base camp. That was my first time of seeing someone begging for their life knowing they were going to die either way. Wow, it was thrilling. Watching from the distance, I felt my heart beat for the first time. I was excited and thrilled. So, I asked my uncle to let me do the killing instead"
"I took the knife and sssshhhh...I drove the knife into his lungs and pulled it out then into his heart and pulled out. The blood splatted on my face and some went into my mouth. That moment, I felt my whole being come to life".
"That was probably the time I was reborn. My mom and Lorca were speechless. My mom became scared of me but she hid it well. She never sent me there again, she locked me up in the house and I could only learn from my dad and became a scientist".
"It was boring, how could I be locked up in the laboratory when I could have a more thrilling life filled with excitement? So, I decided to become meek and act obedient. That way I wouldn't raise suspicion. You see, I feared my mom the most because I knew she wouldn't hesitate to kill me if she found out about my thoughts"
"In my world we call people like me monsters or psychopaths because we can't feel any pain".
"Now, that's enough. If I tell you everything, where would the fun come from again? There is somewhere you can go to if you want to find a clue to where I might be"
"Now, listen to me. A blue house with a purple painted colour on the inside located somewhere east of where you are. Find it, I have a little surprise in that house for you, Lisa and oh, I left you a hint. There is a picture of it in my gallery".
The voice recording ended and they looked at each other. Lisa took the lead walking out while giving instructions.
"Tell your men to search every fucking house in the east of D-City and find a house with blue out and purple inside. Let's go, we don't have much time, I've sent the picture to you".
Lisa and Jisoo got into one car while Seulgi and Irene got into another and they sped off to the east of D-City searching for the particular house.
Irene made all of Seulgi's calls and kept it on loudspeaker for her to give her men the instructions as Seulgi drove following Lisa and Jisoo.
Lisa's veins could be seen popping out as ahe held the steering wheel driving faster and furiously.
Seulgi's men had already reached the east of DCity and started the search. The searched every building and asked people around a lot of questions using the picture sent.
After an hour of searching they found the house and informed Lisa and the rest. Lisa got down from her car and rushed into the house whose gate was already opened. What they saw was a gory scene of a dead man dismantled into different pieces.
Seulgi covered Irene's eyes and sent her out before she could even see it. Everyone looked with bugled eyes and opened mouths. The blood was splatted everywhere in the beautiful house with no furniture. A letter hanged on the wall and Lisa picked it as Seulgi's men murmured about the cruelty of the death.
Lisa picked the enveloped and opened it and it read
"Oh, you found it, Lisa. Good job, right? He was following me. Why would he follow me? The man just had to bump into me today of all days. He said he was sent by Leo Manoban. Isn't it interesting? The man I want to kill actually had the balls to send someone like this weakling to tail me"
"Things are about to get interesting now. The house you're in used to be my dad's laboratory until they passed away. It belongs to me and only I know the password to get in. Clean the mess, Lisa. After all, it was your cousin who sent him. Close the door before you leave, the house will automatically lock by itself"
"The next clue is behind the letter. Find me, Lisa Manoban".
Lisa turned the letter and saw the next address and spoke to the men behind him.
"Is an alley located around the dumpsters. Where do D-City dispose of waste?" Lisa asked and one of the men answered.
"That should be at street 55 around district B".
"Clean this up and meet us there right away". Lisa commanded.
"Yes, Ma'am".
Lisa and Jisoo walked out with some of the men and met Ireneand Seulgi's outside and spoke to them "Let's get going. She left us a new location".
"Alright". Seulgi looked at Irene worriedly and she said "I can handle it. Let's go, Seulgi. I want to be able to save Nini". Seulgi nodded and opened the car for her and they followed Lisa and Jisoo's lead.
