Chapter 90

"Lisa, there is something I need to report to you before you come for my head" Irene said nervously.

"Tell me, what did Ruby Jane make you do?" Lisa asked.

"How did you know it concerned Ruby Jane?" Irene asked.

"She is the only one who could convince you to go to hell with you and you would gladly go. I know what she is capable of. So, tell me what did you do for her?" Lisa asked.

"Well, she said it was a while since she came and that everything looked new and blur to her. She wanted to go to a place she used to know but she wasn't sure if that place existed anymore or not. I really don't know how she did it, but before I realised, I already gave her my car keys and she left" Irene said over the phone nervously.

"So, you gave her your car and she left to this unknown place? Irene .. you"

"Sorry" Irene didn't want for Lisa to finish. "I am already regretting my actions and I'm also worried about her"

"Alright, I already installed a tracker on her phone last night. I will find out where she went and bring her back".

"Please let me know when you find her. I won't be able to stop worrying" Irene said.

"Sure, I will call you" Lisa hanged up. Irene sighed and sat on the sofa.

Lisa checked her phone and soon found Ruby Jane's destination. She was heading towards where the four roads met. The same place that Nini wrote about the day of the episode. Lisa stood up and picked her blazer and keys before going out.

Ruby Jane pulled over in front of a big castle-like house that stood in the middle of a deserted forest. Perhaps, because the house had been deserted for so long, it looked quite inhabitable.

That was the mansion Jennie Kim's parents built for her on her 16th birthday. The pass code that Lorca was searching hard for to this particular building and the others were deeply engraved in Ruby Jane's head.

Ruby jane got out of the car and walked to the big gate. She lifted her hand and wiped away the cobwebs that clouded the pass code system attached to the gate. She was about to punch in the numbers when she suddenly heard noise and turned. She saw Lorca with two men behind her.

Lorca gave a sinister smile and looked at Ruby Jane. He was still unaware of the fact that his niece had DID, so he didn't even know which one was currently occupying the body.

"I knew you would come here one day, Jennie" Lorca said as he puffed out smoke from his cigarette. The smoke entered Ruby Jane's nostrils and she used her hand to blow them apart and laughed.

"Uncle, it looks like you weren't scared enough the other night?" Ruby Jane said and looked at him with her dark eyes.

Lorca frowned and asked as he looked and took notice of her eyes "Why are your eyes like that? You ... what did you do to yourself? Your eyes always look different each time we meet" He asked.

"Take a wild guess, uncle" Ruby Jane told him.

"Forget of that. now that you are finally here, open the damn gate and tell me the pass code immediately. I will be generous and let you off if you don't play any coy game here with me" Lorca said.

"The passcode? Oh, that is what you are after? I don't have it too. This house has been here for so long, the fact that it was still here bothered me somehow. So, I decided to come and just put in some random numbers so that it will blow up into pieces just as my parents wanted" Ruby Jan said casually and looked at her fingers.
